  1. I'd grab that in a heartbeat if PayPal and shipping to Sweden is alright.
  2. Even when completely prepared (reading the comments), there was a high lump-in-throat factor there... (Love it!) The other vids were hilarious though!
  3. Saw my copy had arrived when I was home for lunch so can't wait to get home to listen to it! Did open it though... Thank you It all looks amazing, a debut to be proud of.
  4. Apologies for posting unconstructive comments here but since you've disabled PM's; I think v2.5 sounds fucking awesome and will be keeping this (unless, of course, it's improved further). Massive step up from v1.8, sweet!
  5. It would be cool if the board had expand tags so IF some one giving feedback wants to immediately elaborate on a specific point he can hide it there and not clutter/break the form. Apologies if the board already has this, but I couldn't find it (nor remember seeing anyone use it). If it does though, then yeah maybe use it?
  6. Looks like some one stuck a Mario cap on a character from the Asterix & Obelix movie.
  7. Many of S.S.H.'s tracks are fun/hard, Travel Demon (that Castlevania one) was awesome f.e. Also enjoyed the 666 mix of Unreal Tournament's razor-ub track.
  8. All my most fun gaming memories were playing with buddies. I have almost zero fond memories of playing anything alone. Console-wise, what always first comes to mind are the crazy amount of hours spent duking it out with them in Killer Instinct... Golden Eye... Mario Kart... Smash Bros... Now, when all old friends have moved to other cities and playing alone or not playing at all are more or less the only choices, well... Go figure. Been playing clan games (too seriously) on PC the last couple of years, perhaps the "playing with people" part and being social over voicecomms is what has kept me there. Because thinking about it, the actual games sure "used to be better" ©. Thought a bit about this just now and I realized that maybe I hang out on so many online communities dedicated to gaming just to fill that gap; to have some one to share the experience/s/ with. Although it's not close to as good as the "real" thing, maybe that's what it is... -edit- I don't think it's neccessarily about getting old and somehow not being able to appreciate games anymore; not long ago, on a newyears eve actually, we were four people seeing and beating (obviously only one guy playing and the others watching) "Conker's Bad Fur Day" for the first time and that was a blast, one of the best gaming memories from recent years. So I do think it "just" takes the right game and the right circumstances , both of which are getting less common and the latter related to getting older; not because of anything happening in the brain or anything, just because it's harder to get the time and company to really enjoy stuff like a bunch of happy kids with nothing in particular to worry about.
  9. Got the CDs from cdbaby in the mailbox today! Just wanted to say that damn it looks good. Never seen one of those cases and the prints on the actual CDs are sweet man! This is why digital downloads (as much as I love 'em) just aren't the same thing, thumbs up!
  10. Nice news, good experience with CDbaby (plus their confirmation letter is hilarious) so will get it (and more when at it anyway) off there then. See the downloads as the "tip" if you want, not going through any hassle of getting a couple bucks back but thanks and respect for offering!
  11. Only had enough money loaded on PayPal for the downloads so got me some FLAKs, but after listening through it all I have to say I may just be forced to go through the annoying (when your credit card sucks) process of recharging and ordering the physical copies too. Definitely was that good. Might have to listen to some samples of "older" stuff too, think I've missed out on some good stuff here... "Free shipping" are wonderful words, by the way. : )
  12. I love what I hear and would really, really, really like a copy of this when it's done. Haven't heard the original so don't know how much it does or does not deviate from the source, but what is here is sweet to listen to, great feeling.
  13. Hey awesome! Going to have to loop this at work tomorrow. "Bank Holiday" was slick as hell, I wasn't really paying attention when I listened at first but it literally grabbed my attention and made me pay attention, which is very rare and a very, very good thing. Props! -edit- Alternate Ending was fantastic.
  14. This game is awesome. I've only tried (and finally beat) Easy so far, but it's really cool how you'll reach a boss, get your ass completely obliterated and all continues lost and be like "no way, what!? It's not even possible to beat man! Easy my ass...", put the DS down and sit drooling for a while - then return and just "figure it out", beating the boss and feeling sooo good It's so unfair and unforgiving too, impossible to beat on the first run without knowing what's going to happen. Like that first boss, it's not exactly the easiest thing to dodge [spoil]the attacks from above and the blue "flames" on the ground[/spoil] if you're not prepared! It's short enough that restarting from the beginning isn't too bad, but not too short and definitely packed with cool stuff. I love the Challenges too, and I sure as hell am not giving up until they're all cleared (only got the first two unlocks so far; and are they sweet or what?) but it's obvious that it'll take a while! Some of them contain the last areas from Normal and Hard though so I think I'll try to get through at least Normal first. Music is ace, obviously, and I'm really looking forward to a soundtrack being available somewhere, somehow. One of my fav. games for the DS for sure. On the other hand I have a boatload of fav. games for the DS, such a great system!
  15. Never heard the original or played the game, but this rocks my socks. It just never gets old; been returning to the track constantly since it was posted and looping it over and over every time and it only gets better. I may have to go so far as to say it's probably one of the top ten mixes I like best on the site. Somehow it feels like it would make a perfect soundtrack to what goes on inside my head most of the time, and that's probably why it feels so comfortable and right. Two thumbs up, one to each of you!
  16. Ooh there, thanks. I guess I didn't care about that enormous box when I first saw it, just found it annoying and mentally blocked it ever since But now it did something useful, yay! ...and wow, VotL.
  17. Apologies if the answer is hidden somewhere in these 25 pages of comments, but is there any way to see how VotL has been doing? Like torrent total transfer and stuff, remember zircon showing some crazy stats just after launch. Would be cool and probably incredible still; my upload never fails to max out on this torrent alone when I have it on (got ~110GB uploaded so far and damn it feels good to actually have nothing to worry about legally if the ISP would come knocking on the door asking what the hell is going on!).
  18. I suppose the "OCR podcast" refers to http://www.vgdj.net . Really, really good. -edit- 'Cause, ...and all.
  19. YES! My favorite track of VotL, hands down. How do I love thee? Let me count the ways... ...or not, I'm kind of bad at talking about the small stuff. It's 3:56 of aural happiness, and I hope that of the 75 GB VotL I've uploaded so far, several gigs were Lunatic Moon. For what felt like forever I just had the "redxiii.mp3" track stolen in #ocrwip, and it looped oh so many times on my MP3 player. I knew I'd love the full version, but even then I was completely taken by surprise by how the rest of the song turned out, far heavier and faster than the sample had led me to believe. And it's all good. I might just have had bad timing when looking, but on IRC and forums and whatnot, I almost never see this track mentioned, which is crazy. Happy it got it's own place here.
  20. All I get at the moment, I think my settings should be alright... Fresh mIRC and nnscript installs (both newest versions). -edit- When I do the /dcc chat [iP HERE] thing, I get further(?). Lookup is on Server and Local Host is checked. -edit- After spending forever on trying to get it to work, I removed my router from the equation entirely. It works now atleast. Oh, and it's fun!
  21. This is better than any of my recent christmas- and birthdays. So pumped that I'd finally get to hear the rest of that redxii.mp3 sample and I'm... at... loss for words. As some one said earlier; I feel like I should be giving you money. I curse the cruel fate of not owning a printer or CD labeling kit, but sooner or later... So far only heard two other tracks in full (am actually trying to hold back until I get home from work and can listen to it all in one go but couldn't wait to hear these three in particular) and I have not enjoyed any music this much for a long time, no exaggerating. I am thoroughly thankful that nobody saw me when I fired up Lunatic Moon and the guitars kicked in. Am pimping this to everyone I know and my upload will run this torrent exclusively for a good while. Thank you, thank you, thank you. It's not the only thing that makes this one of the best Fridays I've ever experienced, but it's a damn perfect soundtrack to accompany. Oh and by the way, I'm quite fond of those little 350x19(?) image signatures that a lot of people have; it would be awesome if there was an official one for this so that I can have the project page linked in other forums. If there are no plans to do this I'll do one later myself.
  22. Not going to bother rewording; that's exactly what's going through my head right now and probably all the way come Friday.
