I'm thinking about going down the hill to the Gamestop to watch the Midnight thing in progress.
I like being the one guy who's there to look at A/V cables while everyone else is buying FFXIII. The looks on the employees faces make it worth the trip.

Looking forward to the finished project is contributing a lot if you ask me, if no one was interested in hearing the finished product it would feel kind of meaningless.

If that's the case, what is taking up my RAM? It hasn't happend before. Is there a way to clear it out?

What memory is there outside the hard drive? And I deleted my cache as well but that didn't help either.

So I was watching narutowire on my ps3 and it said that I ran out of memory. That doesn't make sense seeing as I still have 7 gigs of free space. I even deleted the Uncharted demo freeing up another 1200 megs and it still did the same thing. What exactly does this mean?

Geez, just when I didn't think I could get any more excited about FMA-B, they go and pull another epic twist this latest episode. Actually, several twists. I can't recommend that anime highly enough right now.

With all the things I've seen about this game, I'm getting very skeptic about the final product. I've always hated the full hp after every battle. I've never liked the guy who did the game. And all the fanboys going crazy about how FF13 had to be scaled down in order to fulfill the contract that required both versions had to be identical is getting to me. Aparently there are 10+ completed levels in the game that had to be cut for whatever reason. I kind of believe all the ps3 fanboys that blame the 360 for a downgraded version.
But anyway, since I'm not nearly as excited as I could be, I'm going to do the smart thing and wait. I can tell that there will be an inconceivable about of people that wont like the game and the resalers (Amazon in particular) will be flooded with used games very quickly and they will have to reduce the price. I'm betting we will see it for $30used within a month of release.

Thanks! Of course, now I have to go out and pick up a USB cable for the thing, but that's okay...
And BTW, Thin Crust, I had no idea that there was a new MGS coming out. Thanks for letting me know about it! Can't wait till May!
There's a demo of it that's been out for a while if you want to try it. The last mission on it is very hard without co-op.

I've also been debating if I should get it or not. But I've got darksiders coming in the mail so I don't know if I should do this one. Let's just ask: I wasn't the biggest fan of diablo and absolutely hated monster hunter. These are 2 games that I think are very similar to it by what I have seen. Is this an accurate comparison? If it is, I really wont pick this one up. Not even now that I just got over $6000 to finish up my senior year.

Yea I know. I guess they were so annoyed at all the hate they received for all the delays that they decided to make it up to the fans by releasing another one quickly. But then again, I'd rather see more versus xiii. Wikipedia says it has been in production since as early as 2003.

none of these are actual final fantasy games and XIV im pretty sure hasn't come out yet/isn't coming out in the same year as XIII given that whole chronology thing

Damn straight. There are folks like me who are literally counting the days down until the game (18 as of the time of this post) and will be there for a midnight release. Hell, I'm probably using a vacation day to take the day off from work. It's Final fucking Fantasy. It's like a cosmic event that only happens once every 3-4 years.

I've said this many times before. But the same guy that did ff10-2 is the guy doing this game. The only reason this game isn't going to suck as bad as it should is because of it's extremely long development time that was used in an attempt to smooth over the crap. I'm getting really anxious for news about versus XIII. Nomura said that there were plans to show something at E3, but due to a change in direction with the game, they aren't sure if something will be ready. I think it was something about the animation with the world map.
(Yes, the world map returns. And so do airships!!)

Well, FMA-B looks like it will be a long runner, except there are no fillers nor stretched out sequences. The original had fillers, yet it was still an awesome show. That's probably why it's going to be one of the best anime ever created. I can't wait till next episode.
You said it's dubbed on adult swim? That's interesting. I really like how they took the story in the first 10 episodes of the first show and crammed it into 3 episodes. But the best part is that it doesn't feel rushed at all.

I think we should all just forget the hooker due to her not-perfect acting and strange design. If not for her, I think the demo was perfect for all its acting and character design. We've barely seen any of the characters so far so we should just wait till the game comes out to judge that.
That being said, does anyone remember the old days where we put aside our grievances in order to enjoy the experience better? I think the R2 mechanic isn't bad enough to go complaining about, and it shouldn’t even be considered to be something to not buy the game over.

This is literally the first game I've ever not wanted to play because of how bad it looks. Some of the clankiest animations and awful voice acting I've ever seen.
