  1. You know what? Forget this. It was a stupid idea anyway. My new one's better. http://ocremix.org/forums/showthread.php?p=691504
  2. I don't know why, but whenever I hear Rock Garden, I keep thinking of the post-fight analysis newsroom report from One Must Fall 2097. Probably because the song is accompanied by a news report, except its about the theft of beer shipments or something, it's been a while since I've played. Anyway, can we get a remix with some sound bytes from Morbo the Annihilator and Linda?
  3. Anything but alternative rock. I hate that crap. Actually, I was thinking something like the Doobie Brothers or Creedence, something that would have inspired Bobby Prince, who would have grown up with these bands, when he penned these tunes.
  4. I dunno, kinda like EWJ's "Invertabrate Retreat", or the end credits theme for Deus Ex's The Nameless Mod. Or it could be wacky like that Zelda song from the Aquabats.
  5. I'm serious. Has anyone ever attempted to attach words to the tune? I haven't emailed Mr. Prince himself yet, but I will if I don't get a response here.
  6. Can I post reviews of remixes hosted on AmigaRemix on the Remixes forum here?

  7. A little misleading, considering the islander/Irishman (depending on which continent you hail from, respectively) in me, but a worthy mix nonetheless. Big tip! [Edit] It just occurred to me I should explain why it's misleading. Well a lad like me who hears the word "pipes" thinks of "bagpipes" of course!
  8. If you're gonna spectate, keep your mouth shut. My point is that a sequel is by it's very nature a spin-off, but a spin-off isn't necessarily a sequel. It's like the Star Trek movies. Every movie after "The Motion Picture" is considered a "sequel" but they don't all arc over one storyline, with the exception of the end of Wrath of Kahn and the beginning of Search for Spock, but that's about it.
  9. Raziel's theme is the one that plays on the title screen of Defiance, right? I assume it is, cause it's the one that plays when you fight Kain.
  10. I've got a collection of Amiga sprites that I'd like to submit for the avatar selection. Also, while I'm thinking on it, does my signature fit the rules?
  11. Believe it or not, there's a compound out that outperforms AS5, and it's called Tuniq TX-3. It's less a grease and more a gummy substance, and thus more difficult to apply (you'll need something like a credit card or your driver's license to spread it about, and it takes a steady hand, about an hour, etc etc), but once you get it on, it's awesome. It's non-conductive, so if you "colour outside the lines" so to speak, it won't hurt, but it's still a good idea to clean up. It's specifically designed for Direct Touch type sinks, like the Sunbeam Core or the Prolimatech Megahalems (I use the Xigma
  12. You just pointed out how I DIDN'T get my "terms mixed up". In the strictest sense of the word, and after splitting many hairs, isn't a sequel in itself a spin-off? In fact, sometimes a sequel has nothing to do with the game before it, like Far Cry and Far Cry 2. Where was Mr. Carver in the "sequel"?
  13. Okay, you guys went TOTALLY off topic. If you wanna debate the legitimacy of the canonocity of the various Mega Man games, start your own thread about it. All I asked was if the two tunes mentioned were the same because I hadn't hear the one in a while and the other struck me with deja vu when I heard it. I humbly submit a request that someone close this thread immediately before it blows out of proportion.
  14. Sequel, spin-off, same difference. Anyway, they're obviously not the same tune then, but I think we can agree they're distinctly "Capcom".
  15. I haven't played MegaMan X4 recently, but I vaguely recall the credits theme, and I just started playing a copy of Demon's Crest I picked up in a bargain bin, and as soon as I heard the seventh or eighth bar of the first level's (the first REAL level, after the scripted intro fight against the zombie dragon) theme, I was like "Whoa, deja vu!" I'm sure there are Capcom experts (read: fanboys/fangirls) out there that could give me the title of aforementioned themes, and that's kinda what I'm asking for, confirmation that these two are the same theme. It wouldn't be the first time that a Mega Man
  16. Ever listen to some of the remixes of Zool "Rock" over at Amiga Remix? Notice how most of them bring to mind the Classic Rock genre? Ever think to yourself, "I wonder what it would sound like as Black Metal"? I have.
  17. One of Epic Megagames' (nee Safari Software?) lesser known titles, it's got a decent intro and title theme. I'm sure the mental image of piloting a hoverskid throught Seche's desert would provide much inspiration.
  18. Except in the game, the Heroes are called "Tinies".
  19. Well, I asked for Lemmings remixes, and they're starting to roll in. Big Tip(ee)!
  20. a few remixes of Norse by Norsewest would be lovely too.
  21. It might be a tad bit obscure, but the Lemmings game series is a real shiner. And the music, even if taken from PD sources, was toe-tapping on it's own. I put forth a motion that a Lemmings/2/3/Xmas/Whatever Album be organized.
  22. I'd've thought this would have been mixed to hell and back by now.
