NECRO BUMP We've been steadily doing this for a while now (though I've fallen behind), but Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger begins airing in exactly two weeks (though I don't expect subs from TV-Nihon for three), so it's time to get hype. For those unaware of what this 35th season is about, it's pirates from outer space who come to earth to fight an alien empire. PIRATE POWER RANGERS, people. And on top of that, their main thing this year is the ability to transform into any of the past Sentai warriors, much like Kamen Rider Decade, except with 34 years of 5+ people, that's a lot more options. If you want more general info, TV Tropes is better right now than Wikipedia. (yes, Gokaiblue, yellow, and pink do end up turning into lots of warriors originally of opposite genders, so expect sudden skirt swapping)

There were seriously some amazing entries this go around. Some epic in scope, some chillax, and some downright hilarious, but all six showed excellent direction. setzer, you need to finish that one; we're all eagerly anticipating the final product after seeing what you've done so far!

MAG 6 was my first, but I couldn't make 7 as I didn't have a stable job then. I hit 8, and now 9 of course. I mainly just added you on Facebook to begin with because of the whole friends of friends thing, having no idea that we'd click that ridiculously well when we met in person. XD But that's MAG for you; does wonders for connecting with folks. ADKFKSGFHLKSFHLHFSI YOU FOUND SOMEONE TO DRAW THAT!!!!

They looked awesome though! And actually, Jade, Velocifero, and I were chatting with Dale North Saturday night, and he suggested that at some point, MAG should do a black tie affair one night with dinner in one of the panel/ball rooms for anyone interested. I think this is a fantastic idea. The entire trip was so incredibly amazing. MAG 6 and 8 were fantastic of course, but it just feels like this was the best one yet. Seeing everyone again after the 6 month gap since Otakon was great, rooming with Shariq was boss, meeting folks in person for the first time like Jade and Wildfire was awesome, and having Hiroki Kikuta draw a nutsack on the back of my Secret of Mana cartridge was exquisite. Glad Shnabubula was able to make it to this one! I can't WAIT for M10. My pictures are all up on Facebook now, though there's a couple of them I'll have to manually lighten later on. My camera is brand new, and while it's good, I clearly didn't have time to figure out the best settings.

I suggest you check out the upcoming PSP remake of Tactics Ogre. At the time he made that post back in March, FFIX wasn't up for sale yet.

I've ALWAYS had problems with EtG, since the first day I've started going there. The problems at first make me think it's related to my own connection (it probably still is), but it's notable that I don't have this issue on any of the other three IRC servers I hang out on. Esper is already one of those, which is why I would prefer that in a move, but I'm amiable to anywhere as long as we can leave EtG.

All done. Chances are slim, I'm sure, but that sure would be a nice Christmas present. Especially since I haven't played my PSP in months. (I mainly use it to play Symphony of the Night over and over again)
