Kizyr was showing these earlier to some of the people hanging at Stevo's, and we came to the conclusion that those two pics of A_Rival and Amy floating in the air, flapping their arms would make a perfect "Can the judges A_Rival?" anigif.

I just found out I'm not really expected back into work until Thursday the 7th (yay more time off; boo that next paycheck is gonna suck), so I can stick around and do stuff. I live in Riverdale, about 10 minutes northeast of DC, so I'm good for anything between Baltimore and Vienna.

Glad someone else agrees with me over how slick that OST is and how much it needs to be remixed.

I've been confirmed for sometime now, but I'm not sure if my hotel room is going to be open (despite the fact that I'm currently by myself in a two double bed room). Gotta talk to snappleman about that.

I was up in the air before now. Switch me over to DEFINITE. (the crucial factor was me finally finding a new job) I'm going to reserve a hotel room with 2 double beds in about two weeks. Anyone who wants to share or has sleeping bags is free to roll with me, but be forewarned that I also posted this offer at the Metroid Metal forums, so I guess I'm doing a first-come/first-serve thing as far as asking. Also note that I only have a Wii, with very few games and only one Wiimote, so bring your own consoles. On the plus side, I live 30 minutes away and have a car, so if you're hanging with me, you won't have transportation issues.

Shinkenger 31 isn't up yet (I expect it sometime today going by the usual schedule), but Double 4 is already available. As a headsup though, people using Comcast may not want to use torrents to get this, as Toei is getting them to shoot out C&D e-mails to folks downloading Shinken. I've seen two people on another forum get hit with it, and apparently Brushfire's been hit too. TV-Nihon already provides an alternative to torrents though: direct download via services like Rapidshare and Megaupload. They've got links to everything they sub in this section of their forum, and it usually doesn't take more than an hour or so after the torrent first appears for them to have a DDL link available.

This is where the confirmation about Dee Jay making it in came from, if you were wondering. Nice pictures of all three, including a single promo shot and 18 pics of the character in action, just like they did for the originals when SFIV info was first dropping. There's also some other interesting bits and pieces in this interview, like how Ono considers Juri's playstyle to be something of a Feilong-like Viper, how she was actually added to the game due to Korean fan petitions who complained that Tekken and KoF had Korean characters but Street Fighter still doesn't, how the Ultra Combo system will see a few changes, and why they skipped Dash/Championship Mode and Turbo for the naming and went straight to Super (mainly because Dash was just a rebalance fix and Turbo was just a speed fix; they wanted to give that same "loads of new content" mentality Super SFII had with its addition of new characters).

The main problem with Haruhi S2 (other than the dreaded Endless Eight) is that it's taken piecemeal from several storylines in several light novels. While quite a few S1 episodes did the same, a large portion of S1 came from a major arc. S2 could only count as doing the same if you believe that Endless Eight really should've lasted more than 3 episodes max. I assume S3 will be a lot better on that end, because Disappearance is probably the next thing to be adapted.

Shinken 30 and Double 3 are actually out now! As usual, I've downloaded both but haven't yet watched either. XD

I was under the general impression that Jackson's production team (at the time) composed most of S3's tracks (several of which we know are in S&K as well), but after the legal firestorm, Drossin came in to finish up the rest of S&K's set.

Also, games are still being made for it. In fact, another game was just announced today. It's due out in a month.

Isn't that the same line of reasoning they tried to use with the Atari Jaguar? Which they claimed was 64-bit, but it was really just 16.

There was no way to shut those messages off in Prime 3, so I doubt the Trilogy would let you. It never really bothered me though; it was just a low volume sound effect and a tiny icon in the center of the screen that fades in less than a second.
