Actually, since I do have a .zip of all the MP3 files already, I could host that somewhere real quick and at least give everyone access to the music. Is that kosher?

Yeah, seems to be pretty badly seeded right now. No idea why, since I've usually had great luck with previous OCR torrents. (Client: Tixati 1.61, if anyone's curious.) Thankfully, I have many friends on the project staff who hooked me up ahead of time.

Part of this contest for us artists is being able to make a song that grabs you NOW. If that's what influenced your early votes, then the artists did it right. Songs that "grow on you" (and I've found a few myself which were quite enjoyable) are great, but I don't really think they're the purpose of this contest. Don't worry too much--there's nothing at stake besides bragging rights in this game.

Yuck. This week's theme is decidedly uninspiring. Not bashing Darke for choosing it, just surprised that a Mega Man game would have such a crappy song. Time to bring out my turd-polishing equipment! Yes, that means I'm mixing for the Concrete Men this week.

Heh. I'd be happy to teach you a few things, if possible, just hit me up on MSN or AIM (details on my profile). Helping OCRers with production techniques seems to be my destined path these days, haha. I like helping. Also, yeah, the autotuning (actually, it was a combination of Melodyne Uno and NewTone) was blatantly obvious on purpose. I'm not a terribly good singer, but I sound passable as long as I tune the snot out of my voice. Been doing that a lot lately, trying to make a vocal-driven EP.

Yuck...listening to my track after a decent night's sleep, I'm not incredibly happy with how some of the mixing turned out. Whatever, that's what happens when you work on a song for 12 hours straight, haha.

This song IS shaping up. A bit more slowly than I'd like, but it's going, and it will be excellent when the time comes to submit. Also, I am drinking caffeine for the first time in two weeks. This helps.

I WOULD be the one to mix during finals week, haha. Hopefully I can still pull something out of my hat in the last couple days of mixing.

Having been listening to this album for the last several months, I can assure you all...it's gonna be one of the best to ever hit OCR.

I haven't enjoyed a solo piano mix this much in a LONG time. Stunningly gorgeous job here, sir Squint.
