I'd definitely recommend Logic if you've already been using Garageband for quite a while. Cost is about the same (as I recall), and you get SO MUCH for $500. Logic is one of the single most powerful tools you can have as a producer, and if you can wrap your head around it, it'll stand you in good stead.

Is it just me or are vocal-driven ReMixes getting better and better? First Ska Buffet, then some of Akumajo's NiGHTs stuff, then that Kenya rap mix from Super Dodge Ball, and now this. I'm a happy listener, that's for sure!

This. Absolutely. Harmless is my go-to bassline synth, and I'm starting to get my head wrapped around the incredible depth that is Harmor as well. Fantastic synths.

I dig me a McRib once in a while. It's not incredibly amazing, but it's tasty. Also, Five Guys is my absolute favorite burger joint. That is, aside from perhaps Fuddruckers, but Fudd's is even more expensive. So Five Guys it is. Plus (and I don't know if this is the case everywhere else), the closest Five Guys to me (actually 14 miles away *sob*) has that awesome soda fountain where you can choose any flavor of any drink you want. That is epic. Finally: Show me a Wendy's burger that has mushrooms, bacon, jalapenos, Pepper Jack cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and ketchup, and I'll show you a cheaper Five Guys burger that tastes better, has better-quality meat, and is cooked on a better grill. You just can't get what Five Guys offers at a fast food joint.

I'm quite pleased with this signature--thank you, Rexy! Also in regards to the robot master I ended up getting--it was a toss-up between Gemini and Top man, so I'm extremely pleased with getting Top Man to work with.

So true. A lot of my "OMG I LOVE DUBSTEP" friends would classify me as a "dubstep hater," because of how much of their favorite music I can tear to shreds. I don't hate the genre of dubstep, I just hate the fact that so many garbage, bedroom producers can put their half-baked crap out there and get so many fawning fans. To me, dubstep is an exercise in production values. I even dig a lot of Skrillex, because he did what he does FIRST, and he did it with polish. Noisia are one of my favorite bands, and I've been able to see (via studio tapes and interviews, etc.) how much work they put into their production techniques (plus they started out as dark DnB--another "exercise in production" genre--first, which they absolutely rule at). The best dubstep music, of course, is when you combine flawless production values--slick synth patches, clean mix--with a well-thought-out melody line and chord progression. If the mix isn't clean, if the drums are generic, if the synth patches have been used in every other "dubstep" song out there, then the song is garbage to my ears. Granted, I've always admitted that I am first a producer and second a musician. My standards tend to be insanely high, and the average listener might not care. I just wish the average listener could learn to be a bit more discerning with what they consume and what they praise.

Meh. We might see a small price increase, but it's not going to be anything incredibly huge. I'll have to (oh, darn) pay $100 for a 1.5 TB drive instead of $80.

This. The name is incredibly apt (especially since I might do a remix of the Akumajo/Prophecy remix at some point since they handed me the vocals a while back). Plus, we are solid ReMixers.

That's it. I'm taking this as a challenge to make some actual quality dubstep for OCR. Besides PR's track, what else has there been? (I know something most of you don't in regards to some project tracks, which are brilliant, but those don't count yet.)

I'm joining Jason Covenant and AkumajoBelmont. Here are my choices: 1. Gemini Man 2. Top Man 3. Air Man 4. Spring Man 5. Heat Man I'll probably be going last, as I've got a ton on my plate, but once Jason asked me to join, I couldn't say no.

I just want Groudon back, dagnabbit. Gotta get my legendaries. I played through Ruby twice on an emulator and never got to actually use the 3rd gen 'Mon in any sort of competitive manner (and I'm too cheap at the moment to go out and buy a used cartridge). Also, +1 for the DS Lite. I love mine. Edit: Add a +1 for Metagross. That's one of my all-time favorite pokemon.

Personally, I think discs 2-3 are the best ones of the lot. That's just my electronica leanings speaking, though.

This is probably my favorite out of all the other tracks on the album. I dig the New Order-ish-ness of the track (Blue Monday, anyone?) and the well-constructed retro vibe in general. Nice work!
