I've never really gotten over the burn that came with Windows ME and VIsta reminded me too much of that. That and I've never really had the money to put down to expel my preconceptions.

I'm pretty well near the end of the SNES version, but I needed to stop and clone some Excaliburs, so I haven't really gone any further... the fun of grind...
