  1. I have a question aimed specifically at the creators of Kong in Concert and more generally at people in this thread: Would anyone object (or better yet, think it was a good idea) to uploading the MP3 version, taken from the .wav files at 320kbps, onto a torrent tracker? I have no problem doing it and was actually thinking about it, but figured I'd ask.
  2. Oh, sorry. Didn't see the make offers thing. I'm gonna sleep on it for a night, but I'll probably get back to you.
  3. How much are you asking for the speakers? I might be interested. And Conker's Bad Fur Day? How much for that?
  4. What time do you guys usually play? I'd love to come and maybe bring a few friends (3, tops). [Edit:] And now, I feel like an idiot. :-/ Sorry guys, temporary illiteracy. Thanks for pointing that out, Brycepops.
  5. I, for one, really enjoyed it. (end)
  6. I like it. I'm not generally a big fan of heavily techno stuff, but it isn't terrible. I'm not a big fan of the part in the middle. Pretty much from where it does the static, low quality thing to when it gets fully sped back up. I mean, it's ok...but jeah, not my favorite part. When it starts slowing down again, though, I <3<3 it. [Edit:] Man, this song is deceptively long. I totally thought that it was on the outro. My favorite parts were when it was mostly piano playing with a little techno fuzz in the background. Hope I helped. Do more if I can.
  7. Done and done. Subscribed to this thread and favorited the server. Next time I see some guys on (probably any number above 3) I'll join and there shall be fun and merriment abound.
  8. I'm definitely adding the server to my favorites and will play with you guys a lot. I <3 me some TF2.
  9. Bump with link... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zECkDpRs_gc I know that there's no guarantee, so there's not necessarily any reason to bring it to the front...but I figured it was this or make a new thread, so I opted for this. [Edit:] Did not expect to see the video actually put in the middle of the page...hopefully this'll have taken it down....nope. Sorry to all.
  10. Thanks for the speedy replies, guys. You see, I'm not really an audiophile...I mean, I can tell the difference between an 80 kbps and a 320 (I think) but...jeah. Thanks guys. You've been a big help. To ensure that I get good quality, I think I'm going to stick to a simple 320kpbs CBR rip. ...that sounds funny. How is one supposed to say it? Eh...probably just 'cause it's 4 in the morning. Sorry.
  11. This is for a desktop, right? I'm assuming a desktop with an ethernet connection to the Internet? If not, you might wanna start researching 'How to get wireless in Ubuntu' BEFORE it gets ugly...
  12. If you're blind, you do a hell of a job typing... But the smilies are to the right of the box where you type the text. It's clearly labeled...'Smilies.' There's even a 'more' option. Which leads me to believe that your layout is weird. What browser are you using? And screen resolution.
  13. Hey guys. I've been lurking about the site for a while now, but just recently started posting. Seems I'm full of questions, too! I'd love all of these to be in pretty simple English...not any crazy music enthusiast stuff. a) What's the difference between CBR and VBR when ripping/converting music files? Which is superior at the highest bit rate? What is the ideal bit rate for .mp3s? I feel like I had a few more...but I can't remember anything else. Thanks in advance!
  14. In my mind, the easiest Linux distro to pick up and run with, especially from a Windows background, has gotta be Ubuntu. I've gotten my girlfriend running it...kinda.
  15. One last question, then: If I download every torrent, will that mean I've downloaded everything OCR has to offer (once again, not including the songs between the updates, a la 1734)? [Edit:] Editted for typo and clarity.
  16. Hey guys, first post, long time listener. I have a question concerning torrents, actually. I'm a pretty computer savvy guy, so I don't need to know how it works or any of that, my question is far simpler: Do the torrent files (that is, the big ones, 1-1000 and 1001-1700) contain ALL of the OCRemix songs on the site (excluding the ones in between the updates, a la 1709 or 1734)? That is, if I download those two torrents, do I have everything OCR has to offer? And since I'm typing out questions, how do you guys keep the torrents organized? If I've downloaded 1-1000 once and you guys update the other to 1001-1800, I don't need to download 1-1000 again, do I? I read above that you don't make it easy to simply download the newest 100 (something I'm not sure I understand), but surely the complete big groups (the 1000s) are not messed around with at each update? Sorry if any of this is confusing...it's like, 5 in the morning. :-/ [Edit:] Woah for two reasons: 1) This is a sizable bump. Didn't realize that it had been a good month and a half since this thread was active. 2) The standard layout for the page has newer posts at the top. What a mindfuck.
