D': I've read the tutorial part of the forums and refused to post an update until I completely understand EQ/Compression I started working on my own song to practice EQ'ing and it's coming along great. I'll post it in the Originals section. Anyways, I'll return to this once I learn more about instrument frequencies and stuff.

Wanted to try something that hasn't been done before. Ironic, considering that this is Chemical Plant Zone. Just started this a few days ago. Wanted to make something that you could tap your feet to. Still needs a lot of work. Can't find that lead I'm looking for, so I left it out. Having a lot of fun working on this, but still have to make an ending that isn't a cheap fade-out like I've done before. Gonna EQ more tonight. Tell me what you think for starters. It's been a year! How is everyone! Now, now, I didn't get rejected, but I felt like I still had a LOT of work to do before my first song was submitted, and I'd like to know what you all think ( And what finishing touches I could use. ) I included new drums, instruments and even gave the chorus a little hook as well as throwing a small reference in there! I also started from scratch with the EQ'ing! I still feel like there was more I could add, so please lemme know what I can do to improve! This is the new! And this is the old!

Well, since I'm out of school for this semester, I can totally focus my attention on this Project. I can settle for the WIP deadline in March, too.

While I do like the song a lot... Those vocals are beyond impressive to even come close to Nier's vocalist. Kudos.

I'd have to agree with this. The use of Sytrus has never stuck with me, but the acid synth [ I think that's it ] is being used in an interesting way. My complaint is that I don't sense any sort of beat. To be honest, I'm not sure if you're trying to make a techno mix or just mashing things together and trying form something. o.o While this sounds like your typical noob mix, I can't help but think you can make this shine. Also, I have FLStudio 9 XXL... And IIRC, the playlists [ Since Fruity Loops III ] have always been the same. You place parts on separate patterns and add them up in the playlist menu, right? o.o
