  1. Gotta head out for Pennsylvania soon, but thanks everybody - waking up to this thread made my elderly morning complete! (No Depends™ Jokes, though? Come on!)
  2. This WAS my very first VGM arrangement; production is fairly lacking since I think all the samples combined fit in like 3-4MB of space, but at the time it was exactly what I wanted: an orchestral version of the PSIII opening theme. I'm not even sure I knew commercial VGM arrange OSTs *existed* at the time, but I wanted that specific melody in a form I could control, with orchestral instrumentation, so that's what I set about creating. I had so much fun I decided to do Shinobi next, and that's pretty much the beginnings of this site, right there...
  3. Pity us, for we are trying to coordinate our Otakon panel AND the album release simultaneously.
  4. We're trying to get more folks aware of OCR through Youtube, so this is good to hear
  5. My two fav. places are Tir Na Nog and Houlihan's; tend to be a little less crowded, as well. Any thoughts on either, for lunch? Rare Candy will be playing at 3pm in Jamspace on Sat., that seems like something a lot of folks (incl. myself) would wanna catch, as well. So maybe lunch at 1:00pm at either joint, then shlep over to JamSpace afterwards to show some VGM support?

  8. My current answer is C: Both. Why? Well, hell yeah, it's helped me massively. Listen to my older stuff, then listen to my newer stuff, I'll say no more. NOWADAYS, though, between posting mixes, coordinating events, and developing the site itself, I hardly get to make any music. It sucks. I've got like 12 WIPs from different games, in different genres, and I haven't been able to make progress on any of them lately. Suckage. With any luck, some of these will come out late this year or early next, after we're done with our big site development phase. I really miss making music.
