  1. Nah it'll be more like a rock ballad kind of thing. Nothing too high. Wouldn't go into much high pitch if at all. At the moment, only have a first verse and a hook with it but if you want to go in on it I can work on more lyrics.
  2. Currently thinking of writing up some lyrics for a popular yet barely done track in the Megaman X for OCR. Spark Mandrill. Preferably someone that wants to cover the voice and the guitaring. Will provide the direction for the lyrics. You can be creative with the sounds. Meet halfway on the collab.
  3. Where's my burrito? Where's my burri-I mean, my preview? =3
  4. Glad to see it going good. Possible to get another track teaser? =D
  5. You can do it. I can't wait to download and shove this into my iFail to listen on the public transport rides in.
  6. I love the idea with vox behind this song. It adds quite the depth in an otherwise epic song. If you can extend and make it less conservative, it will be well and truly accepted.
  7. Something distinguishable and established maybe. 45secs to a minute would be plenty IMHO. I have listened to your work on NG man but hopefully it can be distinguishable and unique. =D
  8. It's a great pick because they're all such high-paced and very suiting of the series. Lovin' it. Can't wait for the whole thing to colloborate and finish into one big album.
  9. - Layton's theme - PuzzleWho wants to solve said puzzle? =P
  10. Any updates to this? It's just simply too awesome to leave out.
  11. It gets quiet in some sections which, truth be told, becomes a little inconsistant with such a dynamic opening. If you could keep up the same sort of level but allowing flexibility with SOME quiet orchastrated parts then it'll be a brilliant piece.
  12. I like this song. I want to so download this because it's that addictive.
  13. Sounds a lot cleaner now. Now probably have to go into the technical bits that the J's suggested to you regarding your last sub and you probably got a re-finished product. Unless there's something major that people missed.
  14. The only two things that probably I might pull apart is the beginning rhythm guitar and the mashing of the rhythm guitar and the vocals bit. The beginning section seems a tad overbearing to listen than the lead, which may push away listeners that may not know the source. Give it a mid-range sound but not so much that it becomes a minor part of the sound altogether. The vocals mashing with the rhythm guitar suffers a similar effective problem. While doing it with the guitar may work, the vocals itself suffers if done the same way. Would be better to filter it as though you got half of it in voice and the other half through a "megaphone" kind of sound filter. Therefore the song can have a better sounding body to it, if you catch my drift. Otherwise, it's a good rendition.
  15. I'm a fan of some of the tracks from a Japanese fighting game called "Melty Blood". It seems to have some rather unique... melodies, to say the least and wonder if anyone is up to the task of pulling a remix of some of them? Actor's Anteroom The end of 1000 years Beat from Melty Blood Wonderfull boy World End Roar Truth from Melty Blood Nightmare Teller
  16. How's is the status of your comp? There's so much promise to this piece.
  17. Wait it wasn't Megaman. It was The Shinra Shuffle. My bad. Something like that is what I call jazz.
  18. Needs more swing. Something like the Wily Stage song that OCR officially released. That's the jazz theme there. All I'm hearing is upbeat. While it's okay, there's just too much build up on it.
  19. It's been way too long. How's the comp fixing going? Can't ya hook up your drive to another tower or something to upload? Or some other complications happen?
  20. Volt Catfish from Megaman X3 Balrog's Theme from Cave Story Sting Chameleon from Megaman X Shadow Man from Megaman 3 Bonus Stage from Street Fighter 2 (Any version's fine)
  21. Just for reference, post your changes in the same thread ya originally created because it makes things easier for people to follow.
  22. Considering on how it started, it could be changed around to your advantage. Set the source in motion then work it to become instrument-ed throughout. Don't be too liberal with it or you'll lose out with the J's.
  23. Hmmm. It has a unique beat into it even though it's just the start. Problem I see to it is how can you liberalize the sound to your uniqueness without losing the source's soul? That and probly the beginning section just before it gets into the bass beat. Sounds like a little lag put into it. Could fix it to be faster or something.
  24. Don't think it's out of place. I think it relates to "decisions", that's all. Hope you can get your power supply back and running, AkuBel.
  25. Bass doesn't suit the style of what you want to portray. Sounds muffed up in a way. Can do a more orchestral/guitar presence with it. If you want, play with the vocalisations as well. Using vocals as part of your piece can work to your advantage maybe.
