  1. Light and gorgeous, this is exactly what a beautiful lake should sound like. The signature change was a nice way to continue the mix while adding a new element to it. Kinda reminds me at some points what Lake Hylia would sound like if they tried to add some of the "beauty" workings in terms of arrangement and instrumentation of Dire Dire Docks into it. That's probably just me hearing it, but eh, it's a compliment anyway. Wonderful ReMix.

  2. The beginning funk jam alone was terrific to listen to, especially that effect at around 1:25-1:29, but then the dubstep comes in and everything goes into overdrive. The "Hey, Listen!" sound clip being used in a way that doesn't get annoying is a pretty good feat, so props alone for that. I've said before that Windmill Hut/Song of Storms was my favorite OoT source, and hearing it with his beat is hot. Really digging this.

  3. Oh hell yeah, if that opening isn't enough to get you pumped, you're going to need a shot of adrenaline straight in the heart right now. Such hard-hitting rockin' energy abound, and it's reigned in by an amazing driven guitar riff. This was made for action and I love it. The break at 2:22 was perfect for giving everyone a chance to cool down a tad before going right back into the blistering rock at the end. Awesome stuff, really liked this.

  4. Corridor of Time, one of the themes I've heard on OCR so much that I know it without having had much experience with the game it came from. But that's not a bad thing, because just about every take is different and interesting or at the least enjoyable to listen to, and Argle's take is no different. A great ReMix to listen to with great production. Very nice.

  5. While I do agree with some of the critiques including the midi sounds and repetition in the first half of the ReMix, I do have to say that it is a decent listen. At least there were some changes near the end of the mix, but I would have done a tiny bit of trimming in some areas. Especially like the opening build-up and the overall tense yet energetic vibe I get from this, almost like it was fit for a chase or running bit. Not bad, I can see where I would have loved it when it was originally posted.

  6. Loving the mix title. This is a little ball of fun, isn't it? Truly something that can make someone happy by listening to it, I'm sure. Some chip, some bounce, a little bit of clock SFX in the beginning and near the end, lots of cool additions and arrangement ideas that make this work. Considering that everyone is saying that it's bit close to the original in certain aspect, I may have to check out this OST soon. Very nice.

  7. Chiptune rolling star! Woo! I love how I totally can hear the Kirby games inspired style (and certain effects) in this ReMix, as it really does sound like Katamari Damacy driven through a blender filled with certain pink marshmallows. :-) A great mix of resources and styles to bring about something delightfully happy and insanely fun to listen to over and over again. This is an awesome ReMix, DDRKirby(ISQ). Bravo.

  8. Definitely has the spirit of Deus Ex in it. It is a fantastic thing to hear an electronic piece that works without being in your face the entire time. A more cerebral electronic ReMix, I would say. Nice mix title (I like that connection), well thought out arrangement and great sounding product overall. Well done.

  9. Man, Aladdin, Jumanji, Flubber, Hook.......his movies, his comedy, and the fact that he loved Zelda so much that he named his daughter after the princess (which is a wonderful thing for a father to do), so much about Robin Williams that I loved and enjoyed throughout my life. Regardless of what led to his passing in this way, I just hope he has found the peace he was after. My condolences to his family.

  10. Well, this is pretty old-school as far as ReMixes go. Not a whole lot to it in terms of change at the start, but then we get the sweet SFX section (which was pretty cool, actually) followed by some piano with beats around it, going into even more old-school style. So while it's true that the melody doesn't really have a lot of change, the arrangement at least changes enough to keep interest and be different. Not my favorite Tetris mix, but not bad.
