  1. These next two days are going to be the toughest to wait through, but EVERYTHING IS COMPLETE! *Tosses red baseball cap into the air and catches it on my head*
  2. ...it's scheduled for Julius Caesar's deathday! At least one more week away. This last week will be the hardest to get through! There's nothing else I'll need to do as I listen to the tracks, except remember the environments the tracks took place in. If I have to, I'll save the whole album to my hard drive! Is anyone else saving it?
  3. The estimated 16 tracks I most anticipate are the background music tracks for the levels (such as the volcano, bramble, and jungle levels). I breathed a short sigh of relief because now all the level environments are accounted for. Now, it's just the title screen and Funky's theme. Our goal is in sight! Speaking of Funky Kong, what did you all think of his appearance in Mario Kart Wii?
  4. Five days until WIPs are due! I'm alarmed the initial post hasn't been updated since February 6. The WIP flow stopped, didn't it?
  5. One of you should scream like the Cruciatus Curse has been cast upon you! Honestly, I doubt I could've come up with tormented screams myself.
  6. The more I look at this topic, the less I want to visit the site again. I just see this project in its unbudging glory and get sick with longing. I'll believe anything good about this project once it gets released.
  7. For a while, I've wondered...has anyone ever tried to hack Wild ARMs? Ex. Creating new textures, music, sound, characters, enemies, items, tools, etc?
  8. It IS off-topic. If we were discussing Wild ARMs characters, I'd have no beef. Save the Final Fantasy discussions until we actually make the FFX album! I'm probably the only one here who says this, but my most anticipated tracks are Ancient Shrine and Warrior's Whistle.
  9. They've just scheduled Heart Gold and Soul Silver for March 14 (aka Pi Day). If The MissingNo Tracks is to be released in April or May, I hope the hype on HG/SS will recede before then!
  10. I hate when claims fall through! But at least you tried!... If I didn't smell sarcasm, I'd be puzzled as to what would've made Portrait of a Plumber a bad project...
  11. I second this. If need be, we can release the music first, then put up the album arts later. If I were in the same situation, that's what I'd do *Expects a response like, "then you wouldn't make a good director because...."*
  12. I read somewhere that virt turned in his track for Flight of the Zinger. Was I hallucinating? The only reason I'd want DJ Pretzel to make those two tracks the highest priority of their kind is because if my eyes did NOT deceive me, they'd be the keystone to this album.
  13. Really nice job with the teaser trailer! A few days ago, it dawned on me that the director didn't just pick this game blindly: There's a LOT of really good source material in Super Dodge Ball that I've only just heard. And the ReMixes? They have some of the best relations to said source material since the first half of last decade! I've read somewhere that 2010 is going to be the year for Around the World, and because of how much I liked the preview, I'm holding my breath on that idea being legit. Exceptional job, all of you!
  14. JaDe ARaN HaRuNo: The Original Trilogy! (beep) I hope this works! If I was making some freeware in the distant future, this "original trilogy" would be among the first collections of songs I'd turn to for back ground music! By the way, February 20 is when you want at least 50 rough WIPs, right? I'm having trouble getting my facts straight on this one...
  15. I did pick it because I hated the Grand Theft Auto series. Without those (upwards of) 10 games, the whole community would hardly get half the negative attention from the federal government and congress!

  16. Were the balls white in the original game? (I've never played it.) I always thought red made more sense for dodge balls.
  17. If you want to rid yourself of that vice, it's a mixed bag. For example, I usually preconceive a remix track as having the same note key, time configuration, and measure span (I know I have the terminology wrong, but I don't know the correct words) as the source material. Unfortunately, I also pay heed to the environment the ReMix is suited for. A case in point is Hedgehog Heaven: Cavern Escape. The first half of the track sounds really deep and dark, like is suited for a vast cavern, but the second half... I didn't think the piano sounded proper for such a track.
  18. Clearly, someone doesn't want me to hear anything else before this project release. After finally clicking the link to the Mining Melancholy preview track, I get hit with a server misconfiguration error.
  19. Three questions and comments, Jose... 1) You're the only ReMixer I know who does rap. Do any other ReMixers rap? 2) It's not your fault I had a problem with the Turbo HD Remix. My gripe is that the mixes were not all new. 3) What did you name your ReMix of Mining Melancholy?
  20. Does my username amuse you because it's a hate speech against the Grand Theft Auto series?

  21. It's still not clear to me if any unfortunate circumstances have arisen in this project's development, but I'll be happy to see it released in January 2010. I thought they'd release BOTH The MissingNo Tracks and MegaMan 9 (beta name Back In Blue) before this. And If I interpreted one of Teeth's posts correctly, he loved the OST to DKC2, but he didn't want the remix to sound just anyhow. And to all those talking about the cock on Mona Lisa... did it ever occur to you that in past millennia, it was a symbol of fertility?
  22. Back in Blue? I think this is a GREAT title, especially because of how far in development this is. I mean, the Blue Bomber...back to his original series after almost a decade of dormancy. The first series (except MegaMan X part 1, as Stuttering Craig said) is what MegaMan was made for.
  23. Do the rules of ReMix requests say anything about asking for new album projects to be established (from entire games)?
  24. A week from today will not necessarily be the release date but only our first chance at it. Sure, the two "DJP" tracks are substantial rather than basic WIPs but I'm not holding my breath on them being finished in the next week because I can't prove either of them will. To me, December 18 would be plenty because I'll be done with final exams.
