  1. I knew before you said it that Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum were the main series. I just didn't mention them because nowhere in the first post (that I've seen) does it say this project is covering those subsequent 6 games. As for "perfecting the product"...Sorry. I've spent so much time debugging programs that I think everything has to be obsessively "debugged". I got carried away with my overperfectionistic thought patterns that I feared for this project.
  2. I keep forgetting: how long was the OST for the first 7 mainstream Pokemon games? (Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, and Crystal) If you ask me, cashing on hype doesn't justify anything unless you're perfecting the product in the meantime.
  3. I imagined the sci-fi tracks (like Holy Mother of Darkness) would be more trance-driven, the magic/fantasy settings to be more epic overtures, and the west/olde tyme settings to be other genres (but not modern), but this is sounding good. PLEASE, video game and music gods and sciences! Let this one get an EXCELLENT reception!!!
  4. Ahhh...scandals abound here. I couldn't decide which I liked better, this or the Dark Side of Phobos?
  5. I've only heard bits and pieces of this album because I don't know how to use OGGs. My favorite track, out of what I scavenged from elsewhere, was Braving the Flames.
  6. After hearing all the albums to games I recognize, along with parts of albums where I've heard of the source game, I'd say The Dark Side of Phobos was my favorite album.
  7. So whoever was creating the preview(s) closed a program without saving it? I don't mind because...if you measure completion by individual tracks and how far along the WIPs are, it hardly amounts to 1/8 completion. I could live with waiting until 1/4 of the entire project was complete before hearing a previews.
  8. ...I like the more expansive projects with multiple remixers myself, but Sonata of the Damned is not bad.
  9. I'll bet this wouldn't have happened if RARE could just get the XBOX series right! Grabbed by the Ghoulies, Live & Reloaded, Perfect Dark Zero! They were all such huge disappointments that I'd have left if I worked alongside David Wise. Anyways, 4 more tracks! The anticipation is degrasively heavy!
  10. What are those two songs and band LMFAO? That sounds so embarrassing. I can't keep a straight face 4 seconds in. Why did you try to fix that?
  11. At least that's better than the Black Eyed Peas' original version. A sad piano drama isn't unheard of on other albums, but on this one, it still wouldn't suffice. Donkey Kong Country revolves more around comedy than drama. And skrypnyk, the Black Eyed Peas songs before "My Humps" were at least mediocre-to-decent. "My Humps" was (beep)ing terrible.
  12. The so-2005, Black-Eyed-Peas'-only-bad-song, annoying-as-they-come "My Humps"?
  13. Abbey and Warrior's Whistle are listed in greyish green. Does this mean they're closer to completion than "substantial WIP"?
  14. If any more albums should come before Serious Monkey Business, it'll be the Unknown MegaMan 9 Project.
  15. It's obvious another DKC game would really satisfy the fanbase's hunger. Unfortunately, if we ever want it for any hardware, a group of fans would have to do it themselves. Nintendo will never make another DKC game as long as they're under those Bongos' curse!
  16. I used to hope this would be released around when Kirby Wii gets released, but now I have only a ray of hope that it will ever be released. And if an admin pronounced this project dead, I'll be OK if he or she locks it.
  17. I don't want to hear any new or newly appended material yet. All I want before this gets released is an update in the forums' track list to show what has a WIP and what's finished, and THAT's if there is anything to update there. As for the Faeries's Woods, I'd have to agree with the slower, darker theme. Sometimes, if a style doesn't match the original environment, it's still the only way to make a good track.
  18. A...secret? I better read the initial post over. Update: I'd have put this in the initial post, just to make it easier to keep in mind. As usual, the anticipation is high. Same here. I think you speak for everyone here on that, but I don't speak for everyone here when I say I anticipate it more than anything but Overture of the Vigilante Wild.
  19. Are things going smoothly? This is my favorite unofficial project on OC Remix. I played Oracle of Ages a long time ago, and I'm anticipating the album more than ever. A major decision come February is which Zelda website should get it first.
  20. Unless those dates are goals, that defeats the purpose (or at least the one that would seem most obvious).
  21. Whoops! If I came off as a control freak or egotist, I meant to say I didn't expect this to be the same as Voices of the Lifestream. Also, if a game like Final Fantasy VII could be remixed so well that even fanboys wouldn't gripe about the nostalgic factor, then what's to stop a theoretical Ocarina of Time remix project from the same exact website that created Voices of the Lifestream? And it's not like I said there ever was a bad OC Remix album (except for that one thing about the Turbo HD Remix soundtrack). In fact, as long as there's still musical talent to be found in gamers and game creators, I don't think there ever will be a bad album. Perhaps more albums are being created at a faster rate and I'm letting it go to my head.
  22. I would like to take this opportunity to thank CAPCOM. I applaud CAPCOM for giving olde-tyme Mega Man fans what they wanted, even when the franchise was at risk from the bad reception of most 3D Mega Man games. Have you all had any luck coming up with a name for this album? And when you're done with this album, I bet fans would clamor for a Mega Man 2 album.
  23. Sonic's 4 Sega Genesis games (add-ons not counted) will be complete with this. The only problem is, there's only 11 tracks so far, not counting any discussion outside this topic's initial post. To REALLY stand out over Hedgehog Heaven, all the remixes would have to be at least 4 or 5 minutes and the remixers would have to make the music with every ounce of talent in them, in their full power. If all else fails, you can still have two tracks per OST song.
