  1. I like everything I see here and I'm very relieved a second attempt is underway. I'm most excited for the Hotbeat track. I couldn't ask for more.
  2. HylianLemon, everything you said there, I understand and accept. But I want to kick The Prophet of Mephisto in the beanbag and see what happens by crikey! Edit: I forgot to mention that I liked Oracle of Ages and Seasons at least as much as A Link to the Past. I've never doubted that either of the Oracle games deserved remixing...
  3. ...but there are still 6 more WAVs that have yet to be turned in...including Ballad of Ages and Jazz Is Undead! How hard could these last 6 tracks be to turn in? And is there a basic version of the site you can show us for the time being?
  4. I think this'll get reviews within the neighborhood of 8.0 to 8.5 out of 10. I predict that when all the episodes get released, this game will only be about as famous as Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.
  5. Despite that, I still believe all three systems are equally as good. I can't decide which track I'm most excited for, but tentatively I'll say Dali because it was used in a custom Zelda Classic "The Hidden Duality", so I recognize it best. Other than that, I know next to nothing about FFIX, because neither my "oniisan" nor I ever owned it.
  6. Prince of Persia has about even chances of being the first good video game movie, but the chances of it getting a lot of award nominations is 3,720 to 1. I haven't ruled out the possibility that this decade could single-handedly save game-to-movie adaptations. If there was one game that would make a good movie...I really can't say. Any ideas I might have would be complete blasphemies.
  7. Nintendo just hasn't been the same or had any hint of good reputation since July of 2008. And it's all thanks to the White Four: Wii Sports, Wii Play, Wii Fit, and Wii Music subseries. My brother has a PlayStation 3, which 2009 favored. The XBOX360 has too high of a failure rate. I thought I'd seen the worst when politicians invaded the previous (6th) generation. As for the 3DS, I have a neutral feeling towards it. I'm not expecting everything out of it, I'm not insulting or flaming Nintendo, I can only say that maybe it will give us new innovation or good software, maybe it won't. If the Unknown 3rd XBOX System doesn't have all the technical problems the 360 did, the adult systems will take over, and Nintendo's long legacy will finally come to an end...but if you ask me, the entire gaming industry will go out of the frying pan and into the fire if that happens.
  8. Come on! The equipment you use may make your track sound a LITTLE dated, but your style won't show its age...to me, at least.
  9. A bad acid trip, eh? I don't know what kind of music that's supposed to sound like, but pun not intended, the more ideas for such a short original track, the merrier. I'd vote YES on such a proposition.
  10. Honestly, halc. I think you've been making a LOT of clever moves on this project.
  11. If it releases for the DS, I'll wonder why. I believe the most likely reason is: Unlike previous generations which lasted for 1/2 decade, this 7th (Wii/XBOX360/PS3 and DS/PSP) will last a whole decade. With no new hardware, their only option is to keep up the new software. Hopefully it'll make the latest systems worth the sharper price tags.
  12. Serious Monkey Business, The Sound of Speed, Back in Blue, Around the World, and maybe The MissingNo Tracks would make my year.
  13. I stand by my previous comment: I believe Serious Monkey Business has broken records as best OverClocked album. The vocals, as a whole, were fair, if you ask me. Everything else is nigh insurpassable. I read GigaBowser's comments, and I thought, "Hey, at least (s)he still liked the tracks without vocals." So to GigaBowser: The vocals were not the absolute best thing about the album, but they're better than you make them out to be. To everyone else: I implore you NOT to let this turn into a huge falling-out. I don't want any trouble from any of you.
  14. How could I have been so unobservant?! I never knew the recruitment and collaboration board even existed! I was convinced it would be a matter of time before someone took on DKC3, and when I finally noticed this board AND this topic, I rejoiced. Already a few WIPs, and it's only a matter of hours since Serious Monkey Business was released. I liked the first two, so I'm anticipating this one. The goal of the Donkey Kong Country Trilogy is in sight!
  15. Running would help me more as well. I'm 5'9'' tall, 128 lbs male, but I only have limited physical activity. If I jogged further and further every day, my heart would be in top-notch condition. I harbor an intense hatred for McDonald's and indeed the entire fast food industry, I hate tobacco and alcohol, I'd never do other drugs (even marijuana) willingly under any circumstances.
  16. I like darn near everything I heard from this album. A really good recovery from 2009's apparent losing streak. (people didn't like the four 2009 albums compared to everything dated 2008 and before, did they?) Back to Serious Monkey Business: I can't decide if I like this or Kong in Concert better. When that happens, you know you have a superb album.
  17. Heart trouble? I know how you feel. Most of my family has such a history, albeit more with tobacco than anything else. One of my cousins suffered a massive heart attack 8 months ago, and she's only 2 years older than you. Both my parents are at extreme risks of coronary heart disease, but they're much older and could fall terminally ill within the next two decades.
  18. In this case, practical means not so ripe as to melt into a flavorless gel-esque mash.
  19. I have 4 bananas in my kitchen, but they're too ripe to be practical.
  20. It's more than a trailer to me. I listened to it, but had no objections. Do I have too much faith in the project? And in the ice theme, the vocals sounded foreign/accented. I think it's better that way. At this time, my clock reads 1654 Hours. Hopefully it'll be out before 1930 PDT.
  21. I'm thinking the vocal tracks were done correctly. I don't think they botched it.
  22. GaMeBoX gets to do something for The Sound of Speed? It's exactly as I hoped. I liked his iMushroom track on Project Chaos, so I'm very pleased to see him at it again! tl-dr: Signing on GaMeBoX was a good move.
  23. Dang! Right when it wouldn't be practical! If this were released on Easter 2011, I wouldn't be surprised. They may be over halfway complete, but there's enough left to do to last for 5 months (August from here).
