This is turning into a shameless self promotion thread. Not that I mind. Just noting.

While that is good and all, I prefer this:

Easier pitch bending

I haven't spent more than 15 hours on a song, but then again I haven't really done any big projects. And I mostly stick to short songs. But I can definitely see a 5 minute song taking more than 15 hours to complete. I'm very picky so I'm sure I could save a lot of time by~ being less picky. I also tend to listen to the song way too many times while making it. When I have a good flow, composing is very quick but when I'm stuck it's like "wat do" so it really depends. Also, thanks for this thread, seeing as I was curious about this subject too.

Why isn't there a "scratches head anime style" smily...

If I did, then it was unintentional Who cares if a daw has useless plugins. The most important thing is the work flow (how much you like making music in it). If you have all these shnazzy plugins but working in your DAW feels like running up a hill wearing rollerblades, then what's the point? (Not going to name my example, since it would only start flaming). The best plugins usually doesn't come with your DAW, you buy them to complement it.

My view on jazz has changed. Now I know how to create jazz.

I listened to some of the songs and it's very hit or miss. The mixing is bad in most cases, especially the stereo image. But some songs are interesting enough to listen to. Edit: do love his avatar.

There was also a battle where you could hit the lvl cap without much effort. Just took some time. But I still think FFTA is good overall. Better than FFXIII.

Ok so I got the indie beat pack. Had to get something Besides, I haven't bought any new games in forever. I thought I was the only one with a Marche avatar I feel for you Jaswald (if you change your avatar ).

Pan Flute and sine waves particularly. I also have a thing for harpsichords and honkey-tonks.

Can't say my hopes are high for this project. Dissidia Duodecim looks good though.

This kompletely opened my eyes. Going to look up Komplete now, might be just what I'm looking for too. I already have synths covered I feel, but I want more acoustic instruments.

I liked Sadame the best, but the others aren't bad either. I was surprised that Joe Hisaishi didn't make Sadame though, it sounds just like him. I'm just glad to know what the song is called.

If you have the money I would recommend Izotope Ozone 4. One of the best (if not the best) mastering vst on the market.
