Reminds me of Breath of Fire III with it's funky battle music. I like the arrangement a lot, but I'd rather listen to it through my keyboard with the midi file. Good job with the song I especially love the "chorus".

I have FFV for emulator, maybe I should play it. My goal is to eventually beat I-VI. I have almost finished IV I think, I beat the four friends and then some. I got to the train part in VI then I overwrote my save. Lesson learned, use more than one save. FFX-2 was mildly amusing, although I did play through it with a friend.

That's why I wrote rarely. I also love The Moon, and Sadame, which is from an anime I don't even know what it's about. You can also get added nostalgia from the time period you played the game, making it even stronger. I know a lot of my love for the Final Fantasy soundtracks are based on nostalgia but I don't think of that as bad.

If anything Newtone and Pitcher is fun to mess around with. I don't need it right now. But I still bought it. Knowing it's going to be a lot more expensive later. I have made one song with Newtone, using files from the newest blur pads tutorial.

VII-X best. But If I played I-VI first then I might have liked them better. Haven't played XII.

Music from games you haven't played rarely beat the ones you have memories from. At least that's my experience.

It shouldn't even be called Dragon Quest in the first place. It should be called Dragon Ball Quest (seriously can anyone tell the difference??). But this thread is about a FFVII remake. I'm all for it. In fact I have been waiting for it. I just hope they do the soundtrack justice.

It should be possible to look up (most) unknown terms. Double stops is playing two notes at the same time. Divisi = dividing a section into two or more separate sections, each playing a separate part. Google and youtube is your friend
