The project is not currently being "held up" as you put it. There is progress being made. It won't be quick, and I AM NOT going to say when the project will be out, as I honestly cannot tell you with any confidence. But things are happening, and there is progress.

Also, it's somewhat unlikely (although not entirely impossible) that bLiNd doesn't even have the workfiles anymore. So even if he actually would be willing to change that sample, the original work would be gone and there would be no way to make any such change without completely restarting the song from scratch. For those FF7 remixes, you might be interested in the upcoming release of this. I know for sure Aeris' Theme and Cosmo Canyon are both to be included on it. Can't say if they'll match your style ideas or not, though.

Nope, they function identical to the original PS2. The only way you're gonna get imports to play is to mod it.

Shot in the dark here, especially given the previous track record of this forum. It's such a shame that the Stunt Race FX soundtrack is so overlooked (in fact, the Stunt Race FX remix on this site exists only because of me ); it's goofy and fun, much like the game itself. I've been hoping for years that someone would take on the Bonus Trax theme, which is basically the same as the Title Screen, but with some minor (but integral) differences. Give it and the rest of the soundtrack a listen. AND REMIX SOMETHING GEEZ
