Ah... those good old - and naive - times If I hadn't sat around being lazy for 2 months, we might've made it! About FotS: Snapple's already pretty far along, dudes. I think it might be too late, though I can bring it up to him. We'll see!

Sonic 3 & Knuckles: Project Chaos - History

I think all remixers involved with the project have had the ability to listen to at least most of the songs early. -
SnappleMan will do a fine job, don't you worry.
-
Due to a lack of response from certain others, SnappleMan will now be taking over the duty of the opening version of Fighting of the Spirit.

Errr...What word? I've been saying for the last several pages that progress has been well, and as Lea mentioned, the first post has a full status report of all the songs, which has been updated almost daily for the last couple weeks. What word are you looking for exactly?

Hey NutS, sorry I couldn't get on earlier: I was posting from work and was on my short lunch break, which was just enough time to get the website situation sorted. I won't be around tomorrow either, but if you come on later tonight or tomorrow night I should be here. Or you can just PM me.

So, even though I paid off the domain name for another year, HostingOnNet decided not to renew it, which is why the site is currently down. I'm working on getting it back. Claado: tales.ocremix.org is the one that'll most likely be used. EDIT: Site's back. Now to solve the billing issue...

You may want to do a massive PM of the people who need to contact you, because they may have forgotten about this thread or don't regularly check it. Don't wait for them to come to you!

Oh... we, could have... YES, we maybe did... We definately maybe made it a hip-hop track. It's a fo sho possibility. Don't like to give hints about the songs, eh? You'll just have to hear for yourself. OR WILL YOU? -
Andy: Who knows? Project's not out yet. RTF: Sure. See ya in about 5 hours.

I'm thinking about writing a few bios (namely on the Metal Slug and Toyota Supra) but I'm curious about one thing: Should the bios focus more on the vehicles themselves, or the particular games that they came from? The Metal Slug shouldn't be too difficult, but I'm more concerned if I need to focus specifically on the Need For Speed Underground incarnation of the Supra, or if I should just write a general bio on it and include the notable games the car has appeared in.

I'm not sure I'll have the funds to print up enough of the artwork and make CDs for remixers, but we'll see. In any case, artwork will be fully provided for everyone to print themselves, and wavs (or FLACs, in this case) will be downloadable via torrent.

Here's your drama.
-
Do you still have your .wavs, NutS? I'll be needing those as soon as you can get them to me.
-
Quite alright, Arek. I can certainly understand, being a project coordinator myself. Don't worry about it: See things through to their completion, man.
-
You might want to mention this in your own project thread and start sending out emails/PMs. The best way to make sure things get done is to maintain contact with those who are involved with your project.

Just worked out how much spare time I'll have over the next month - not enough to start anything new as regards music. Not going to try my had at this, though if anyone needs a MIDI for it I made it quickly. Not a problem, Mr. Jayne. Just as a note, I'll sign on anyone (Of at least decent talent ;P) who thinks they'll have enough time to do Arche's Theme. No other songs, though. This flood of good news lately (SnappleMan: I love you, man.) has me very happy. The project just keeps getting better and better. Let's keep the songs rolling in!
-
I love you, man. Rexy: I don't have your profile, so send that ASAP. PriZm: I love you, man.
-
Well, some people work a little bit slower than that. That's why there's a month. I'm pretty confident we'll get most (if not all) songs done by the due date.

That's certainly a stupid thing to wonder, considering who's on the project. -
UPDATE These last few weeks have been pretty good as far as WIPs and finished songs. I've been able to get in contact with most of you, and I'm finding that you're doing a good job with getting things done and having songs turned in by the due date. We've lost a few remixers/songs on the way, but I'm confident that this project will be excellent, even without their input. Heck, the project is already excellent, just with what's done right now. I'm excited to put it all together and finally release everything to the masses in the next month. On that note, we're entering the final crunch time phase. Here's how this is going to work: JULY 7TH, 2006 That is the absolute, final, completed song deadline. The ONLY exceptions being made are for those who just joined or picked up another song within the last few weeks and need maybe two or three extra days. After this deadline, no more additional songs will be accepted for this project. Once we hit this deadline, it's all over (unless you're new). Release will occur soon after. Good luck! I'll be keeping contact with those of you who aren't done for the next several weeks, so be prepared.

Dude, I know you're the man in charge of this collab and I do not mean to get into subject I'm not supposed to, but... don't you think it's too late to bring in more people? I mean, you guys have been working on this for over a year and we are all so anxious to see what will come out. I don't know. What frightens me is that bringing more people in will delay the conclusion of the project in a good deal of months... He's not bringing in more people: BrainCells already has one song on the project. -
Thanks Carbuphim: I was going to contact you earlier but didn't quite have the time. I was starting to get a bit worried, though. I'll PM you a bit later.
-
It wasn't even on the project initially, y'know: We added it later. And come on: If Robbie couldn't remix it, who can?
-
No, Arche's theme will not be included on the project due to AkumajoBelmont dropping out. Unless Joker wants to do it.
