  1. Jesse Bathtaub? Glad to see progress is coming along here, and good to see you back, KFC. Keep it up!
  2. Well, looks like the site is down again... Hopefully it'll be back sometime today.
  3. Heh, I'm rather proud of myself for knowing the the middle guitar is a Gibson SG, and the one to the far right is an Epiphone. I had to look at the headstocks to figure out the rest, . That's awesome, Sixto!
  4. Well, Hemophiliac and Christian Pacaud's rendition of Mint's Theme has hit the panel. Best of luck on that, guys! Speaking of which, I'd been neglecting to post this, but to answer questions about OCR/other site submissions, here we go: You're welcome to submit your tracks to be judged if they're finished and accepted for the project, but you must explicitely state in the submission email that the song is for the Summoning of Spirits project, and it's not to be posted on the site until the project is released. That's all.
  5. Indeed... KYLE!!! Also, an informal reminder to those who want to work on Last Battle to get to the forums (when they're up) and make some comments and possible progess. I've no idea what the current status of it is. As far as I can tell, the current status of the track is where you left it, unless someone else has picked it up. Also, the entire hosting server seems to be down, so this will be our center of operations until it comes back.
  6. Lea has drawn some artwork specifically for the project that will essentially be multi-purpose. It's gonna be used for a few things we have planned, which includes cover art and wallpapers. Of course, it'll be much like the previews of the music that I've compiled and released recently; the full deal won't be unveiled until the project's done.
  7. Kureejii Lea has been a big part of the process (the cover art rocks, as you will soon find out, and she's done a lot of the other graphic work for the project, which you can see on the website), so don't leave her out. Wallpapers are in the works. You may see at least one here very soon. We may even tailor it to fit the PSP or other portable devices (cell phones, anyone? Or are we getting too carried away? ). We don't want to reveal too much at once, though.
  8. Didn't I cover that? EDIT: By semi-popular demand, here's another project preview. This one's a little different in its subject matter, though. It was more of a joke than anything. http://www.kylejcrb.com/talesproject/temp/SoSHAWTLIXXPreview.mp3
  9. Huge-ass update, in list form for ease of use: -All missing remixers have been found. Thanks to everyone who put efforts forward to locate these individuals. -Claado Shou has dropped from the project, leaving Hydropolis without a remixer. The fate of the song and possible replacements are currently being discussed. -Anthony Lofton (saxaphonist of The OneUps) has joined the project, taking up the role that pixietricks was unfortunately unable to fill in Dhsu's "The Dream Will Not Die" remix. Trust me when I say there'll be some hawt saxaphonage going on here. -Kureejii Lea has completed the album cover art. This art will also show up in some promotional materials due to be released soon; however, the cover art in full will not be unveiled until the release of the project. It's also very hawt. -I'm still waiting on completed songs from a good portion of folks. I'm holding off on setting a due date for now because the last several times one has been set, they've not been met as expected. I am still trying to keep in contact with as many remixers as possible through this period, so working on tracks is still expected, and the sooner tracks are completed the better. -The website will be redesigned from the ground up. It also desperately needs updating. We're working on fixing these things and will hopefully be caught up soon. That should be it. Any questions?
  10. Nope. I think the status on all missing remixers has come to light. We should be good.
  11. Ouch...The storybook is what makes this project so unique. Progress is slow, yes, but I don't think Arek and KWarp are going to let it die. Have some patience.
  12. We're still talking 2011, right? 2015. November 12th, 2015, to be exact. at 10:04 PM.
  13. And before you ask We're looking at a Summer release. Hopefully.
  14. I'm helping Larry out and mirroring the show tonight (provided the RealMedia stream holds up for me) for Winamp users on dialup and high-speed. Listen at http://kngi.servegame.com.
  15. I'm bringing back NGI tomorrow night, but that's not a huge deal since you plan on doing the best-of VGF so late, anyway. They shouldn't overlap if anyone is interested in listening to both. I'll be there tonight, and maybe I'll make a call if you'll allow it.
  16. Yeah, sorry about that. Sometimes news that gets posted here doesn't make it over to there, and vice versa. Hard to keep track of, these projects can be. Glad to see you're still with us, however. We were getting concerned...
  17. Huh? and also, just to clarify...lava reef has been taken care of already, right? mmo term translation: Willing to trade a mmw project song to listen to Data Select. Please send a pm. But Data Select isn't done yet.
  18. Damn. I've seriously been considering bringing back NGI after it's very long hiatus, but part of the problem is that I never had a decent time slot for the show (along with many other issues that brought the show to an untimely halt, but I won't divulge those here). Would you mind, Larry, if I stole...*ahem* "used" your Saturday night time slot? And of course, since this weekend is pretty much the last show, I'll have to at least listen.
  19. Wait...Is the March 25th show the last VGF ever? Is there any chance for me to call in, Ojizzle? (EDIT since it's not specifically CS)
  20. HE LIVES! Good to hear. Now about those other two...
  21. Ah, the obligatory "you all suck" post... I knew something was missing... Hahaha, have you ever listened to any of PriZm's remixes? As for my gear, I have a Silvertone Revolver, which is basically just a cheap Strat knockoff, played through an RP-1 effects pedal and a Silvertone Smart IIIs. Still have the standard pickups and everything, mostly because I just don't play guitar enough to warrant the purchase of humbuckers or other upgrades. The amp is fairly decent, but I know there's better out there. If I played guitar enough, I'd save up for an Ibanez or a custom-built Carvin or something. I also have a cheap acoustic that's in pretty bad shape, but still playable.
