The Legend of Korra (potential spoilers within)
KyleJCrb replied to KyleJCrb's topic in General Discussion
Well you see, the original series built up a villain for season 1 just to kill him off at the end too. I get the feeling a similar formula is in play here and we'll be introduced to an even Bigger Bad in season 2. -
You should listen to everything from Ubiktune (especially the SOUNDSHOCK!! series) because it is consistently one of the best chiptune labels on the net right now. Of course I have yet to hear a label that is consistently bad, but that's even more of a testament to just how good Ubiktune releases are.

Well, him and Megus.

Well, there is a bit of unfortunate news to report: Joshua Morse has ran into some troubles with 'Inside Shredder's Hideout' and has dropped from the project. I appreciate your efforts and wish you luck, sir! In his steed, however, I have some absolutely huge news to report: chiptune legend and Ubiktune proprietor C-JEFF has graciously agreed to pick up the track! I believe this will be his first video game arrangement, and I couldn't be more excited!

That murder-suicide was pretty damn dark for a Nickelodeon show. Also, where can I got a polar bear dog? Because I want one. -
The Megas new album "history repeating: blue"
KyleJCrb replied to psychowolf's topic in General Discussion
I'm not sure how much a legit concern that would actually be, but you do have to remember that the 'Sparked a War' single not only has that song on it, but also the acoustic AND instrumental versions (which is the only instrumental release of any Megas song and will probably remain that way, from what I understand) and the exclusive covers of 'Sunglasses at Night' and the Mega Man cartoon theme, so there are still plenty incentives to pick up that EP. 'Sparked a War' could actually be a good candidate because for any of the vocal hate that will inevitably crop up, the response could easily be "well, go buy the single with the instrumental version on it!" -

Should've gone with Final Fantasy II: Fantasy Harder. Then third one could've been called Final Fantasy III: With a Vengeance. -
I <3 u, Proto.

For someone who claims to know so much about jokes, you sure do have a tough time spotting one.

The Megas new album "history repeating: blue"
KyleJCrb replied to psychowolf's topic in General Discussion
The first time I listened to it, it wasn't immediately obvious to me that the lyrics were from Magnetman and directed toward Roll, so that's where the confusion stemmed from on my end. Listening to it again, it became a bit more clear. -

I think in terms of mass appeal (and since it has pretty legendary memetic status,) 'Can't Stop The Top' would be the ideal song to submit to OCR. 'Gamma Unchained' is good but I think it hinges a bit much on the narrative of the rest of the album. I'm still not sure what to think of 'Magnetman'; I like it and the direction is really creative, but it's definitely a song that made me scratch my head at first. 'Can't Stop The Top' is just plain catchy and will get newcomers hooked hardcore. -

GAMMA UNCHAINED GO GO GO! Also, this album is beautiful. The wait? Yeah, it was more than worth it. -
Yeah, I had to do a Stereo Mix record on it (since you didn't give me an MP3 ) and the levels were a bit wonky. I didn't hear it since I was using crappy earbuds at the time instead of my regular headphones, so it came out a bit overcompressed. Rest assured that the final track WILL NOT SOUND LIKE THAT, FOLKS.

Alright, things are switching around a little bit on the tracklist. First off, Washudoll is switching over to 'Back in the Sewers'. Sadly, GaMetal has been unresponsive for some time do to some copyright issues with his other stage name, so Washudoll is kindly stepping up. If GaMetal does return and we end up with two remixes of it, all the better, because I am always down for double the Turtles goodness! Second, not content with being a second-string collaborator, the legendary VIKINGGUITAR will be keeping this project METAL by tackling his own full-on arrangement for this project, arranging 'Bury My Shell at Wounded Knee'. I think we can officially proclaim this project to be pretty legit in the metal department now that we have a real-life facemelting viking on it. Also: DOWNLOAD AND LISTEN TO THE PREVIEW AGAIN New tracks added! http://kngi.org/shellshocked/ShellShockedAlbumPreview.mp3 Your style's a bit cryptic, but it sounds like you like it, so that's great! 'Bury My Shell' will be here, as will 'Sewer Surfin', 'Technodrome: Let's Kick Shell' and 'Star Base'. Don't worry.
-
Well I know that, but I don't know if Meteo does...
-
I will edit the preview to add his soon.

It means her butt is everywhere.

Really? Matoya is the best song on the soundtrack in my mind, and I'm pleased that Midgarian Sky did a great job with it. Like Otakatt, I'm mixed on a few songs, but there is some true gold here. Brandon brought his A-game with most of his tracks, and Izkemia, blackguitar, Josh Whelchel, Sir Jordanius, Ben Briggs, and M-H bring some really strong offerings to the table. Great job, guys. -
Anyone who cosplays as Toph is pretty alright in my book. Don't worry, the judges typically keep their stash of oversized NOes for song judging use only.

Deia is my favorite female vocalist on the site.
