  1. Hey, you. Yeah you. We're doing a show RIGHT NOW. http://areciboradio.com
  2. Personally, after hearing from the X68000 version of Akumajo Dracula, I'd love to hear a swing arrangement. It's a song that's rife for a larger variety of styles than it's been treated with, that's for sure.
  3. Speaking on "Manos," Rifftrax is doing a live show featuring a brand new riff of the movie next week! Unfortunately I won't be able to make it to a local theater to catch it, but I'm hopeful for a DVD release or something.
  4. Slow progress is slow. You guys all die or somethin' while I wasn't looking?
  5. Golly, I wonder who it could've been! Clearly, the time has come for remixer-tans. I think OCR is ready.
  6. It isn't. I'm not sure why Derrit is agreeing with me when he's been trying to make the opposite point for the last four pages or so.
  7. Creating something out of a love and desire to create is never a waste of time.
  8. I agree, but I have to wonder if they were switching so frequently just to show it off (it didn't look like they were changing back and forth for gameplay reasons so much as to show us that "hey, look! The music changes!) Regardless, a cool option to give players the option to have one soundtrack continuously playing instead of switching them back and forth.
  9. Nooooot quite. The metal portion is being crafted by legendary Swedish SID metal band Machinae Supremacy (who did an excellent a decade ago.) They are using this arrangement in the game and have confirmed that they have written new music as well. From watching the intro video on the Kickstarter page, it also sounds like there's new arrangements from Huelsbeck himself, so that is definitely exciting. From what I gather, this game has been in development for awhile and it's fairly close to completion; they just need a boost in getting over the final stages of development and distributing the game. Based on that, I'd presume Huelsbeck did the arrangements for this some time ago before the Turrican Anthology kicked off.It looks like a new experience from the DS Giana Sisters, and I for one couldn't be more excited.
  10. Not really. Last year I waited until after Thanksgiving and the prices dropped dramatically (we're talking nearly $250, which is quite cheap for a cross-country flight.) If the same thing happens again this year, I just might be there.
  11. Maybe if flights actually drop below $500. They have been ridiculously priced this year so far.
  12. Powerglove is back? Man, I really need to figure out how to get there again this year...
  13. 1 GB of RAM is more than both the PS3 and XBox 360, which only have only 512MB of RAM (though the latter is clocked up to an effective 1.4 GHz,) so it's an improvement over the current HD consoles. Combine that with the Tegra 3 and you have a damn powerful little HD game box for dirt cheap.
  14. You guys are the last of my worries right now.
  15. Why should that matter? Conspiracies and incorrect speculation are way more fun!
  16. Got dem WIPs due tomorrow. I hope I will hear from you guys!
  17. The player on the page should allow you to skip around pretty easily once it's cached far enough into the file; you don't even have to wait for it to download the whole thing. I just did it with no problem.
  18. Larry debunked all of the speculation during our podcast today (starting 40 minutes in.) Everything assumed here, on The Shizz, or anywhere else on the internet is unfounded and misguided. To quote: "I've seen a ton of speculation in the thread[...]and none of it has been accurate." Let's just relax and see what happens.
  19. I can think of a few folks who might have. I'm sure you can too.
  20. Sakimoto, Christopher Tin, Coulton and Frontalot are worth $8 each, much less $8 for all of them. Getting this SO HARD.
  21. Had to look up what this was a reference to, but once I did, it was worth it. (second song from the bottom of the page)
  22. C'mon guys, don't waste the potential of Bud Bundy!
  23. To be fair, Mako is probably my least favorite character on the show.
  24. Sounds like it mirrors most of the real-life 20th century to me (though I guess no country committed 100 years of horrible atrocities in reality, but still.) I don't think it's that hard of a pill to swallow.
