  1. That's just the main theme, isn't it? I know , and of course there are the Zebrahead . Also, yes, this game has REALLY good music. How about a vocal take by the band of the song's original composer? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xm4CXfhqBI8
  2. Magnet Man, you say? http://kngi.org/private/miscstuff/megaman/mm3/magnet/ Crash Man too? http://kngi.org/private/miscstuff/megaman/mm2/crash/ http://armcannon.bandcamp.com/track/crashman http://themegas.bandcamp.com/track/programmed-to-fight-crashman-2 http://themegas.bandcamp.com/track/programmed-to-fight-crashman As for Azure Lake, there's a few remixes of it here (but you probably already know about these): http://ocremix.org/song/215
  3. http://www.dwellingofduels.net/searchresult.php?search=Battle+Network And this, which doesn't show up in the search for some reason: http://www.dwellingofduels.net/dodarchive/12-07-Free_Month/09-Juja,auriplane-MMBattleNetwork-Runment-DoD.mp3
  4. The only CoD arrangements I've seen are on this album: http://www.amazon.com/The-Greatest-Video-Game-Music/dp/B005QW1FB0
  5. Yeah, the video was pretty bad. I definitely couldn't bring myself to get through it now. But when you're like, 10 and can't tell the difference between good and bad and just wanted to watch things related to video games, it was AWESOME.
  6. I still have that tape too. It's so cheesy, but I watched it over and over and over and over and over and... However, my best memory of Nintendo Power? Probably getting mentioned in it.
  7. I can hear some slight fidelity loss between 128kbps and most anything higher. It's VERY slight, though. Otherwise, I can't tell the difference.
  8. I was working on the tagging when it was open to the public. I talked to djp about it awhile back but never got any follow-up. I'm still up for it, though.
  9. That's... not quite true. There are actually dozens of arrangements of FFMQ out there, just none of them are ever submitted to OCR for whatever reason. Here's everything I have from my personal collection: http://kngi.org/private/miscstuff/ffmq/ (note that I cannot vouch for the quality of this stuff. Your mileage may vary.) Also, there's this: http://danieltidwell.bandcamp.com/album/the-mystic-quest-for-metal-a-tribute-to-the-music-of-final-fantasy-mystic-quest And this, which is a joke album (so again, your mileage may vary): http://ffmq.olremix.org/ By the way, this is the ELEVENTH thread posted here dedicated to FFMQ. I thought everyone hated the game because it wasn't a "real" Final Fantasy, but apparently not!
  10. While I'd hate to nix the hard work DusK has already put in, if this becomes an issue, I am willing to remove the song from the album. Also, I'm not too worried about the 50% cutoff. Should be doable.
  11. Yeah, I'd definitely take advantage of the .ogg format and throw some badass remixes in there.
  12. Don't forget to tune into NGI today in just a few short minutes!
  13. It goes the other way (game composers ripping off non-game songs) much more frequently, but there are a few examples of this: - @1:27, they pretty clearly ripped a sample from the album. - Totally rips . - Dragonforce pretty handily ripped music from Double Dragon. They also the intro to the song 'Winning Run' from Super Hang-On.
  14. GameFuel starts NOW on http://areciboradio.com. Tonight: VGMix Special, Part. 2!
  15. Didn't you know, Sixto? Anything louder is automatically better. No exceptions.
  16. Man, talk about a blast from the past: I remember playing this game on my lunch break back in high school almost a decade ago. Neat to see that it's still out there.
  17. Everything with Square-Enix seems to have been cleared. OCR is just waiting on Kickstarter at this point.
  18. I also have a Portal 2 75% off coupon. Looks like Valve is handing them out to Portal 2 owners to give away because of the new co-op PeTI mode.
  19. I wouldn't trust Larry to do a write-up; it would just turn into a 10-page essay about how amazing the McRib is.
  20. I think that's a special case. I'm not sure exactly what it is, but I was told by Liontamer that there was a particular reason why that one hasn't been posted yet. EDIT: Aaaand he beat me to it anyway.
  21. 5 tracks DONE, thanks to Chernabogue and friends! Only 16 more to go...
  22. Strikingly beautiful. I'm not familiar with the Nier source material, but I don't need that context to enjoy this. It's also excellent to see Sabrina on OCR! However, I keep laughing every time Gerudo Valley shows up. It works very well; it's just kind of unexpected.
