  1. Considering Nobuo is a huge fan of Deep Purple and even brought in Ian Gillian for one of the battle themes in Blue Dragon, this really isn't that much of stretch.
  2. Jungle and Strip Mine were the best songs and best tracks in this game. Good memories.
  3. The hell? It really doesn't feel like it's been that long... Also, it's pretty funny that Lea is under both "For certain" and "Engaged" sections.
  4. Kureejii Lea got married like a year ago. Also, myself and Mae should probably be under "Might as well be married".
  5. I believe most of if not all of the boxer intros are based on traditional or folk songs from that characters' country of origin.
  6. This is a bit different from Brent's usual works. If you want to hear stuff more along the lines of what he usually does, you need this. http://brentalfloss.bandcamp.com/
  7. Oh man, I love this stuff. Always fun to hear where inspiration can come from. I have quite a few examples: - They're not THAT close, but there is some similarity. The Mega Man series has a ton of inspiration from other songs, it seems.Mega Man X3 Neon Tiger vs. My Michelle by Guns N' Roses - This one is pretty much discredited by Kinuyo Yamashita (the original composer), but it is strange just how ridiculously close these two are to each other. vs. Black Ice (solo) by DragonForce - Definitely intentional.Winning Run from Super Hang-On vs. - Another intentional example. Apparently DragonForce are huge game fans. - Unconfirmed, but gotta be intentional.Fight On! from Final Fantasy VII vs. - Listen to the chorus in the Metallica song. vs. Carnage Rules by Green Jelly - This probably doesn't really count since the song was written specifically for the game, but it's still interesting. vs. The Mob Rules AND by Black Sabbath - The core of the tune from Maximum Carnage is definitely a straight up rip of Mob Rules, while the solo is at least inspired by Children of the Grave. vs. Looks That Kill by Motley Crue - Different key, but the intro of the MMZ3 track is particularly similar. I've always preferred the . It's definitely closer. is also pretty awesome.
  8. I think my favorite part is the navigators being playable, which was a nice change of pace from the usual sausagefest that is the MMX universe.
  9. X7 is the worst in the series. X8 isn't bad, however. Play that instead.
  10. The Virtual Boy wasn't an accessory. It was a console.
  11. That was useful for the games that used it. Sure, there weren't very many, but it wasn't plagued with problems (aside from battery life) and was actually functional and fun to use. Plus, it looks fucking cool.
  12. If you don't have Portal, you need to rectify that problem immediately.
  13. Armcannon dun it on their first album.
  14. As far as music goes, I thought the use of the Protoman theme was especially strong. Also, using The Megas over the end credits was a stroke of genius, but that may be just because I'm a big fan of those guys.
  15. I'm thinking more around December 2012, personally.
  16. That would be mean. Count me in.
  17. I don't think you really want to know what it means...
  18. The original and sequel have the same soundtrack.
  19. Still no After Burner remixes. Such a shame.
  20. Proof that it is effective!

  21. Considering I have over 20,000 game remixes (about 80 gigs), it's not so much "Finder" as it is "Collector."
  22. There's a lot more out there than just what's on the site: http://kngi.org/miscstuff/punchout/ http://dod.vgmix.com/past/janfeb06/ZZ%20-%20Rexy%20-%20Punch-Out%20-%20Nigga%20Stole%20My%20Piano.mp3 http://dod.vgmix.com/past/2009-07-july/08-Krunch-PunchOut-Bike-DoD.mp3 The OneUps covered it on their album Volume 2: http://www.oneupstudios.com/ous_005.php
