Yo i love that those drums, the sidechain has just the perfect amount of release making that kick stand out, which is awesome. Beat changes are nice, the swing to the drums gives this a more classic feel, and the instrumentation works so well together, nothing sticks out in a bad way, the whole song just feels so "natural". You would stand out as a hip hop producer if you ever wanted to go that route

I really dig the snare. Compressed very well. Im in the 80's i think Yah this def sounds like MMX but like a more modern version of those songs. So catchy. Im really digging the drum breakdown half way through the song. Just cool sounds in general, and the reverb meshes everything together in a very ethereal way. Great writing on lead solos. Would probably be fun to work out to. Def downloading

I like it a lot the flow is great and honestly never felt vocals were off. Maybe a bit more compression but it still is listenable and very catchy. I like the chorus interjections, this gives off a very old school hip hop vibe. Good job

Very good stuff xprtnovice no idea you were so good at orchestral stuff. Its got a range of emotion in it which is good. The ending was fun and sweet too. I love hearing all those zelda melodies like that.

You have a very pretty voice. It sounds like it could be in an rpg easily, like being sung in a tavern in skyrim, or maybe even something from lord of the rings. The guitar is very nice as well. Its all very uplifting in a way.

I like the atmosphere a lot. The lofi stuff makes it cute. The detune on the lead is a cool effect, but when the strings come to back it up in its gives it a lot more flavor and the call and response parts are pleasant. The detail in this song is subtle but its more than enough to make the whole 6 minutes worth. Good job.

Yo this is such a cool remix. This is my favorite song from paper mario. I always imagined a remix being hip hop but you got a completely different and unique vibe and it changes up in so many unexpected and cool ways. The sound design is superior!

just a bump, when i get back computer back from shop ill probably be finishing this up first thing. kinda wanna get it out the way. any ideas are helpful. i turned down the plucky instrument in a newer version but can't access it atm. EDIT: oh yah, I don't need a review on source usage. I mean it's pretty much all there note by note, same tempo. Didn't actually modify the song itself, just arranged it in a different way and threw vocals on top of it. All vocal melody lines are original. And the first chorus with chiptune is a completely original section.

Soundcloud broke my links, third times a charm I guess. I fixed it while I was at it, but am still worried about that bridge being a little cheesy. IDK maybe i'm being a harsh critic.

Ok, updated. I will put up for Mod review soon, but I'd really like any thoughts on anything now, as it is done arrangement wise. Hey guys. So after over half of year of inactivity, it's pretty clear that the lack of interest in this project has brought it to a complete stand still. Not only that, but it seems Nika has disappeared from the face of the earth, which leaves me a little worried to be honest. I'm just gonna write here to say that if you've got a song on this project that you would rather not leave hanging, I don't think anyone will hate you if you submit it. Unfortunately, that wouldn't be a lot of tracks, seeing as most of what we have are WIP's and artist who no longer seem interested in working on them. I'd like some confirmation from @djpretzel or @Liontamer to know if this seems like the best step forward. I'd hate for the few artists who do have finished tracks to have to hold on to them, but without Nika's vision, and without interest in the project (lots of artists not getting back to us), I don't think this is going to go anywhere. I'm stepping out on this project as well. I'd like to work something else. I would say that someone could technically revamp this whole thing, and start fresh with the tracks we have (Maybe like an EP or something?), but of course this is not my decision, but rather the artists who have the WIP's sent in. I wouldn't mind fixing up my track as well and sending it in. Don't even mind re-doing the whole thing, considering my production skills have increased dramatically over the past year. I'll wait for a response from the admins, but I feel like they're pretty much going to say the same thing. But, they may have better ideas. EDIT: I want to say this is NOT a final decision. Again I'd like to know what DJ or LT think before anything rash is decided.
