  1. D'oh, it appears that it was a bug of some kind, because I had a chrome tab open from before you guys replied, and I took a screenshot (and again after zooming waaay out).

Apparently the article was there, but there was a giant gap in-between the images and said article on my version of Chrome (Chrome 33.0.1750.154 m) fo Win7. However, your editing of the page seemed to fix it Liontamer. So there was a bug, just not the one I thought there was. :-D

  2. Yeah, the pictures were already in left-to-right order of how they were mentioned in the article, Anorax, so it wasn't exactly rocket science to match them up. Anyway, I linked them up.

I swear to God that the article in the darkstalkers category wasn't there until your (and Polo's) reply. You aren't just ninja editing pages and then acting like it was always there, right? ...right?

Really though, the article and category character list was never there whenever I looked until now. :-(

  3. I'd have grabbed that Celestia ISW lib but, you know what I need. So how am I supposed to expect for a price when on sale ?

Unfortunately I can't answer that question as I myself don't know, but you can always shoot for a black friday half-off sale or something. I guess the only thing I could do is sign up for their email newsletters and be informed that way because, again, I don't know.

    someday, kontakt... someday...

  4. Does ANYTHING run on the Free Kontakt player anymore? I can't remember the last time I saw a professional sample set that didn't say "FULL VERSION OF KONTAKT ONLY".

I think that anything that can be imported as a kontakt library in the library tab can be played in the kontakt player. Otherwise you need the full version.

  5. I use Reaper too but I've not yet purchsed Kontakt, which is often required (Full) for some of those libs. Haven't grab the free player tho, is it worht it ?

I basically want an orchestral librairy and a good synth for when I don't feel like ReWiring Reason... I'm not sure if Kontakt is what I need.

I suggest you grab kontakt during a sale, because a large portion of impact soundworks' [and many other sample bundle producers'] stuff needs the full version (thanks to the "demo mode" in the kontakt player). or, you know, warez versions work too. Not advised obviously, but hey, it's technically an option

Also, this is another awesome deal that I'd love to pounce on if I had the money. Unfortunately I don't know if my paycheck will arrive in time

  6. Voting of this round will be different.

I will post all submissions to the Judganator. If the song gets a YES it continues, if it gets a NO it is out. The exception is the case in which all songs get a NO (which is very likely to happen since the OCR standards are high), in that case all songs are resubmitted to the Judganator. If this happens three times in a row, the first submitted song wins.

All songs which get a YES move on to the second round in which they are again submitted to the Judganator. This process continues till there's only one song left. That song will be the winner.

woo! ALL HAIL THE JUDGANATOR, THE ALPHA AND OMEGA

  7. To me the entire song - and most significantly, the intro - feels very stuffy (I think it has to do with the rhythm guitars). You may want to open up the higher frequencies or cut back on the lower ones, preferably the latter. If you have a spectrometer available, you may want to pull it out here to see where the strongest frequencies are located - my guess in the low to mid-low range. At 1:50(ish), it sounds much more open, but could still use some bass reduction.

I'm also throwing this in, even though it probably doesn't need stating - sans the break in the middle and the intro+outro, your mix is rather repetitive and could use some variation, both with instrumentation and note arrangement during the more repetitive parts
