Oh hey also full disclosure, my track was heavily inspired/modeled after another Lapfox track (shouldn't be too hard to find on the site, considering my naming choice heh), and I had a lot of fun emulating some of the sounds and learned a TON. But it's also pretty chippy, because I needed an opener for my first show (through the chiptune community) I'm playing on the 22nd Oh and hey my Alberto Gonzalez influence even shows itself in a few spots. THAT makes me really happy

I think any of us left would rather have an actual matchup than the equivalent of a musical a straw man. I know Beth was probably a little irked about her last matchup, I know NutS was with ALL of his matches, and I know I was a bit upset when my opponent dropped the first round, not to mention worried when Flex said he might have to drop. I was also a little iffy at first, but I say more good music hurts no one, especially if it relieves some additional stress from the guy *running* the compo

Got up from my nap about an hour and a half ago, on the final push. Got about 4:15 and still going. Gotta sub an hour earlier this week because I have to be at work at 10:30 (central time), but the fact that I've been working pretty well throughout the week and am still having to cram should say something The DAW fuzzing out and glitching means you're doing good, right...?

Oh no, I wasn't talking about recording at all. There are other programs MUCH more suited to working with the actual audio. Making accurate cuts and splicing stuff and blah blah is sort of a nightmare in FL, at least in my opinion

You're doing a pretty darn good job, considering how bad FL is with audio (Coming from another happy FL user)

Excellent! That was the reason for posting. Here are my two other favorites from Lapfox, followed closely by this one. If you can get past the title, track 4 is my favorite off of that album I HAVE TO LEARN HOW TO DRUMS. Renard's drum sequencing puts me to shame, and I can't have that. That's my thing!

Lee Chaolan 4 lyf I did end up playing some Tekken 3 with my brother and Beth, fun times! But no Lee :'( Also Kazuya's theme from 2 is absolutely brilliantly composed, that's my other favorite

If anyone's curious about my inspirations for this round, I drew heavily from both from Tekken 2 and this album (sound design more inspired by the album, structured more like Devil's Theme). I'm in love with that album, and this post is basically just an excuse to share it - that last track hits me really profoundly. I realize it's a little more out there than most stuff and other people's mileage will inevitably vary, but the whole thing strikes me really deeply. Gotta love that over-the-top percussion at times too, eh?Arceace your track rules man! While I might have a few reservations about structuring, I like your interp better than my own with Aquatic Ruin. AWESOME stuff dude Your bass mixing is getting really good too, keep up the good work
