  1. As with urdailywater, I also couldn't find the message I sent you for the Concrete Man project in my Outbox. Did you happen to get it?

  2. Sent mine in. It's a little weird, being my first real ReMix. O.o Its a little all over the place, and production is a little shoddy, but I sure hope you guys like it. or at least listen to it... ANYWAY. I am also looking forward to all of the mixes! Good luck to everyone!
  3. LULZ I C WAT YOU DID THER. But back to the mix....great job! I loved the harmonies at around 2:00ish, and the vocals are sweetly executed; it kinda sounds a little like Green Day (in a good way). Actually, I was just playing this game and thought this would be a good song for someone to ReMix...get out of my head.
  4. Welcome to my life, man. I also subconsciously added a Cut Man lead without noticing. XD
  5. Seconded. This track has pretty much been stuck in my head since I've heard it. Which is 100% NOT a bad thing. Also, I nominate this for the Track-I-Show-My-Friends-To-Get-Them-Interested-In-OCRemix Award. I look forward to anything you do in the future, congrats on the FUNKAI BEETS!
  6. I agree with much of what was said, especially the part about the intro being too long. The beginning lead seemed a little bare, maybe layer another synth on it? That could be just me though. Also, I would switch out the clap you use at the beginning to something a little tighter and punchier. Hope that helps, and great mix!
  7. Jeez, you guys are done already?! I guess my Concrete Mix needs more time to dry.
  8. THIS. It's probably one of the most original and compelling games from SquareEnix that I have ever played. The gameplay starts with a pretty high learning curve, but if you play it for a couple of hours then it's the neatest thing imaginable. The story also kicks ass.
  9. If you can find it, I'd recommend Radiant Historia; it's a really interesting RPG for the DS that I just started to play, and it's pretty amazing so far. Also, if you haven't already played it, there's a port of Chrono Trigger for the DS as well that I love to play on long trips. I'd also recommend the Professor Layton series. It's got a great story and the puzzles are addicting. It's also pretty good for a pick up and play kind of game, because you can play the puzzles pretty independently. Hope that helps, have fun in Australia!
  10. Can a n00b like me help with this too? You wouldn't have to use it; I've been trying to find something to ReMix and this seems like just the thing.
  11. Collecting all of the battle chips in Megaman Battle Network 3 and 6. So much grinding..... Doing a Nuzlocke challenge. God help me if I have to fight a gym leader with a Zigzagoon ever again. Also, I played through 3 minutes of Superman 64.
  12. Always be willing to make good use of your star bits. But seriously, DAT SAX. If it wasn't already sexy enough... sweet funkalicious beats, interesting use of vocals (LULZ). way to make-I mean show some love to a great theme.
  13. Kinect, Move, Wii Motion Plus, Playstation Eye, the issue is that developers are more wary to make games for a potential gimmick. On a completely unrelated note: Skyward Sword. I read in an interview that its supposed to have a ridiculous amount of play time and content, more than OoT, MM, or anything else by far. We can sit here and argue how a tree looks for hours, but one thing's for sure: Nintendo wins at gameplay. And if the content holds true to what they're saying, im totally pumped for it.
  14. First Review! Now that thats taken care of...Really enjoyed the mix; the style change at around 1:17ish and the time change at the 4/4 at the end really made it for me. Production and sounds are great (as always)and theres really no reason to not download this right now. Seriously. Do it. Also, does anyone else think the intro sounds sort of like the Forest Temple from Ocarina of Time (namely 0:03 to 0:07)? Anyways, great mix! Thanks for posting.
  15. Hey all, I'm Newbie Rex. I've been an active listener of OCR for about a year now, and just now got around to making an account. Ah well... As for musical styles, I'm really into classic chiptune (read: halc, Ben Briggs) and anything techno, although that doesn't mean I'm out on anything else. I haven't got any music making experience other than my school band. I've looked at software and other stuff, but...well...DEM MONIES. I hope I can eventually start ReMixing and being a help to the site!
