I agree; compress the kick for a better sound perhaps. The ending comes a little soon Everything else sounds good for the most part, good samples and layering of synths. I just listened to this on YouTube. Holy crap. Nothing I will ever do in music will ever be as epic as this.

I drum on EVERYTHING with my hands. It got so bad that my parents would make me sit on my hands sometimes just to stop the noise. Also, when I walk, I divide each concrete section diagonally (making an x) and I can only walk once on the X-sections. Brains are weird.

In my experience playing the game so far, id have to agree. There's some talking with the dowsing mechanic, and there IS some "you should do this because I said so," but for the most part it's alright.

I agree with overflow, gameplay is top notch. I'm really enjoying it because I'm figuring things out again; there's enough new things to basic gameplay while still retaining its Zelda-ness. And that main villain is creepy.

The cymbals seem too high; EQ em down imo. maybe think about layering the soundscape in gradually as opposed to throwing it in all at once. Also, a change in instruments would help; i hear a little of that going on, but i think it could be greater. Get a more layered square; it sounds pretty weak/vanilla compared to the background Pretty much everything thats been said; as it is right now, it sounds less "thick soundscape" and more "messy soundscape." work with dynamics and EQ to bring the background back and the main leads front. Good arrangement though. Im a sucker for Chemical Plant.

I'm not sure. I think it was real, but I don't ever remember seeing it. Then again, I was really little and was more interested in cartoons than commercials.

The Majora's mask commercial was epic The original Super Smash Bros was pretty good too. Funny.

<instert phallic reference to mix title> Just some initial impressions: Took to long to start up, was a little repetitve synths are pretty vanilla - layer for a better effect i liked the piano part, good job on that drums are repetitive, try switching up the part so it sounds fresh overall it seems pretty empty, i think with some better leads and more layers, it could be really cool. Sorry if that sounded sporadic; i was writing while listening.

I'll throw Bioshock's name in again, namely because I just got around to beating it and I loved last fourth of it. It's definitely something to make you think; it's pretty much Ayn Rand in video game form. I'm also surprised no one mentioned The World Ends With You. Although the gameplay learning curve is a little high, it's really fun and has a really powerful storyline imo. The ending to infamous is also really good, but the rest of the story was a little lacking. From what I've heard, the professor layton games are pretty good in terms of plot. Shit ton of puzzles though.

Just took a listen - great work! It's an interesting deviation from the norm, both for dubstep and halc. MUST HAZ MOAR Oh and congrats on that wedding ring thing.

This. A thousand times over. The tough part about making dubstep is that the production has to be almost spotless.

If you do it Koji Kondo will come out of your computer and punch you in the face. Trust me Ive seen it happen it's totally legit
