I have counted your statement about ff14 as a vote, even if you didn't intend it as such. I gotta say Final Fantasy 14 really pisses me off simply due to the fact that Square Enix brought Nobuo Uematsu back to make an amazing score for a new Final Fantasy 14 game, but the game was pure gutter crust scraped from the ass of a demon. It's totally not worthy of Uematsu's music. And honestly I'm surprised he even agreed to do it, but maybe he didn't know it would be so bad. Anyway sorry about the rant, votes updated... haha... And yeah, I'm surprised more people didn't vote for FF in general. 3 votes? I thought FF was somewhat of a "thing" around these parts. Then again it is 12 and beyond, so.... yeah. I should Ninja-Edit all of the FF votes over to Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, and The Last Story

The melodic break at 0:55 "makes" this song for me. And the part after the rough and awkward transition at 1:53: Awesome stuff.. So I see this is getting hate on youtube, though considerably less hate than Bad Koopa Dubstep () I still felt that overall, there should have been a lot more variance in the tones, both the melodic leads and the percussion / dubstep elements. There's more that could have been done to diversify the sound, but regardless, it's over the OCR bar, and it has a few sweet hooks. Would listen again.

They've been saying R.I.P. for hours and he's not even dead yet. No matter how hopeless a situation seems, have some faith... at the very least hold off on the funeral planning just yet. But yeah, very sad. Makes me appreciate my dad a little more, who constantly yelled at me while I was driving until I always obeyed the rules of the road until it became second nature. Yeah 2004 is a bit old but those games got votes before I decided for sure on 2006. I was going to let them slide... Ace Combat has games that came out later than 2006 so it'll work.

I wanted to ask what's up with electronica. Does OCR receive primarily electronica submissions? How many metal ones do you get and how many of them succeed in passing the panel? Sometimes it seems like metal is less encouraged, it doesn't get featured very often... Unsung Heroes was an awesome album and it got a great few acoustic songs on the front page. Most of the non-album tracks are electronica, and I think there's a couple orchestral, maybe 3. There is no metal on the front page and apart from Sixto's "The Shredder", there is no metal on the Previous On... section at the bottom. Not trying to be a jerk or anything, or j'accuse or anything, I was just curious about some of the figures about what you receive and what makes it, etc.

Does adding a new track during or after eval affect when the album can come out? Cause I heard, I think in the guidelines, that project release is a month after eval finishes.

This bad box art mega man they're putting in the game is not the actual mega man. It's the guy who modeled for the artwork. He probably hasn't had a job since then, and has let himself go quite a bit, which is sad. If only he could have gotten more work. But now is his big chance to get back into the game (pun intended), and he's gonna try his best and show everyone who didn't like bad box art mega man that they are a bunch of punks.
