  1. Hey everyone! I hope this is the right place to post this I just finished a long Zelda mix, including 5 remixes that I've done, and several beats from other artists that you may not have even heard of I think it turned out great, and I put a ton of work into the video too, as this is the first one I've done for multiple songs. Video was 100% done in FL Studio using ZGameEditor Visualizer plugin. Without further ado, I present "The Hero of Hyrule," a 40min Lo-fi, Trap, and Chillout mix ::TRACKLIST:: 00:00 - andre.Wav - Press Start 03:21 - FUSION42 - A Forgotten Lullaby 06:37 - Polaster - Bamboo Island (Lofi Remix) 08:56 - FUSION42 - Door of Time 10:57 - CheeseCakeBeats - Gerudo Valley 13:42 - FUSION42 - Mabe Chillage 16:58 - Phi Dao - Mipha 22:18 - Oskar Nyström (Tiny Drum) - Tarrey Town 24:08 - Smoove Beats - Valley 27:53 - FUSION42 - Windmill Lounge 31:21 - Patriice - Zelda's Joint [Lo-fi/Future Mix] 34:31 - Doc Infinity x mowgli - links loops 37:27 - FUSION42 - Final Hours I'm planning another mix like this also, although it will be open to lo-fi and chill remixes from any series, hit me up if you want to get featured. I'm also happy to answer any questions anyone here has as well. Thanks for listening and I hope this brightens up your day!
  2. Hey everyone Here's another lofi hip hop of a song from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 This one is sampled a lot more heavily than the last song I posted, and as such I will probably not be submitting, but just wanted to share and get some feedback. Cheers
  3. I highly recommend the Nektar Impact LX+ series. I picked up an LX25+ back in november and it's been really useful. Whoops: just read that you're asking about wind controllers. I have no idea... but the Impact LX+ series are really good and affordable midi keyboard controllers good luck on your search
  4. So I recently blitzed through Xenoblade Chronicles 2, which has an awesome soundtrack. Like seriously even if you don't have an interest in the game I highly recommend checking it out. After almost 100 hours in the game, I felt it was time to try my hand at a remix. This is a remix of the music that plays in one of the towns at night. "Don't Forget Me" has become something of a meme in Xenoblade/other gaming circles. Anyone who's played the game will know what I mean Original song: Remix: Anyways, probably not submission material, but if someone thinks otherwise I may consider submitting it. I hope you enjoy!
  5. Interestingly enough, I don't think that sample is actually from OOT. It's from some other sample pack I have, and in isolation it didn't sound like that, but in the context of a Zelda mix it sounds like Navi, so I decided to keep it in. Glad you liked the mix by the way.
  6. Thanks! So I actually "finished" this track over the week and decided to do a little visual EQ video for it. I may still attempt submitting here sometime too.
  7. Good song to remix... my favorite in the game. Unfortunately your link doesn't work though, so I can't hear your remix.
  8. Hey everyone, I've been working on a chilled out version of Mabe Village from Link's Awakening. I completely rearranged the song's chord structure, and played most of the riffs/runs using a midi keyboard. This is a style I've been very fond of lately and have used it for some other Zelda Remixes, none of which I felt were worthy of submitting, but I think with some polish I might be able to get this one up to par. +Overall song structure/arrangement +Mixing/sound choices I included a middle section with a different vibe/different chords to spice it up a bit. My biggest challenge on this one is that the tune is pretty short and only has one section. I experimented with a few different ideas to lengthen the track, but if anyone has any other ideas I'm open to hearing them. Right now I think the length is OK, but there is still more work to do to keep it from sounding repetitive. Lastly, I'm open to collaboration on this if anyone is interested (one thought was maybe a real guitar playing over some of the sections instead of my so-so plugins) EDIT: updated link, song is finished now, but I may go back and make changes if needed before submitting
  9. Glad you like. Yeah the "don't do that" cracked me up bigtime when I first put it in there. Definitely intended to get a chuckle out of the listener.
  10. Hey everyone! Thought I would share something I put together last night. I recently saw the latest Star Wars film, and although I have very mixed feelings about it, I did enjoy it. It inspired me to make a Star Wars remix, something I have never thought to do. This was just something fun, and I hope it puts a smile on your face. Any feedback is also appreciated. I think the mix came out ok but there are elements that I feel could have been better. Thanks for listening!
  11. I really enjoyed this! Sounds amazing. What do you produce with? I've been really wanting to get into future bass but I don't know quite where to start. Also if you don't mind me asking, what did you use to make your video? I have been making videos for my songs too but mine are much simpler. I really like it.
  12. I really enjoyed listening to this! Is there any specific kind of feedback you are looking for?
  13. Hey everyone! We are somewhat new to posting here, but wanted to share our latest track. I've been a long time lurker on OCR, but finally ready to start producing/submitting remixes. This is our first submission, which was submitted a few weeks ago. Would love any thoughts/comments/feedback on the mix! This is a remix of a really short/simple song in Breath of the Wild that plays at the Flight Range in the Hebra region. It's basically a more melancholy/chill take on Revali's theme. I was listening to it in game and got inspired to do a trance remix! I didn't initially think it was good enough to submit, but I showed it to Jewbei, one of my favorite trance remixers who I have been connected with on FB for years, and he liked it and encouraged me to submit and gave me some tips on my mix. So a BIG thanks to him for doing that! We hope it gets accepted, and even if it doesn't we will try again! Anyway, without further ado, here is our remix of "The Flight Range," which we have titled "Take Flight." I hope you like it and welcome any and all feedback and discussion! Also on Soundcloud for better quality: Also, on another note, we are definitely looking to make more remixes, and if anyone wants to collaborate some time, let me know! I play keys (jazz/soul/gospel styles mainly), guitar, and sing, as well as produce with the latest version of FL Studio.
  14. Hey everyone! I'm new to posting around here, but I've been a long time lurker (for over 10 years now I think). Anyway, I only recently got back into producing music in FL Studio, which was a hobby of mine in high school, and I feel like my first few tracks have turned out pretty good! For today, here's my first lo-fi hip hop release. I plan on doing more in this style, which I've been listening to a lot lately. This is by no means my main style of music, I also like to produce dance and trance music, as well as an occasional hip hop beat. I would totally produce jazz if I could, but my setup is really minimal right now and better suited to electronic music. By day I'm a gospel keyboardist, singer, and songwriter, so really I just like all things music Anyway, here's the track, and I hope you enjoy! If anyone has feedback on the mix or arrangement I'd love to hear it. A little more info on how I made this: The track was made in the latest version of FL Studio, using a free electric piano sample as the base. The beat was drawn in by hand, and partway through production I purchased a Nektar Impact LX25+ midi controller (which is awesome by the way) and I used that to play the synth lead and do some of the automation. All mixing/mastering was done in FL Studio, and I'm aware that it's not perfect and I have a lot of room to improve, BUT I actually was really happy with the mix overall. Thanks for listening!
