  1. Audiomancer

    Anger

Something I wrote and did a while back. I'm playing the flute, and I wrote the background music. If I recall correctly for the background music, used notation software to command a Roland keyboard, and recorded the result.
  2. Audiocolor

    Power Wave

Here's a new original of mine added to soundcloud. Still have a bit of finalizing to do, but it's one of my favs.

    Egyptian Reverie

This is an original song of mine. I am playing the flute. Thought I would share!
  4. Hey everyone! I'm new to posting around here, but I've been a long time lurker (for over 10 years now I think). Anyway, I only recently got back into producing music in FL Studio, which was a hobby of mine in high school, and I feel like my first few tracks have turned out pretty good! For today, here's my first lo-fi hip hop release. I plan on doing more in this style, which I've been listening to a lot lately. This is by no means my main style of music, I also like to produce dance and trance music, as well as an occasional hip hop beat. I would totally produce jazz if I could, but my setup is really minimal right now and better suited to electronic music. By day I'm a gospel keyboardist, singer, and songwriter, so really I just like all things music Anyway, here's the track, and I hope you enjoy! If anyone has feedback on the mix or arrangement I'd love to hear it. A little more info on how I made this: The track was made in the latest version of FL Studio, using a free electric piano sample as the base. The beat was drawn in by hand, and partway through production I purchased a Nektar Impact LX25+ midi controller (which is awesome by the way) and I used that to play the synth lead and do some of the automation. All mixing/mastering was done in FL Studio, and I'm aware that it's not perfect and I have a lot of room to improve, BUT I actually was really happy with the mix overall. Thanks for listening!

    Raver's Mindscape (WIP)

Title is still a work in progress I was going back through some really old tracks I had start and came across this little gem. This track is over two years old and finally got a proper work over now that I have better plugins. I also got the chord structure from a very famous piece of classical music can you guess it?
  6. Thought I'd put together another original Mega Man song for once in a long time, hope you all like it! Please like, follow and all that fun stuff and I'll love you forever Also you can find my Bandcamp here with more music goodies: https://blaz1222.bandcamp.com/
  7. Hello, I recently posted on Vimeo my showreel: It summarizes in one minute what I do as a freelance composer for games and audiovisual media What do you think about it?
  8. Mazedude

    Once again, Mazedude.com

Hey all; just wanted to share that at long last, I have (once again) rebuilt Mazedude.com. I'd love it if you could take a peek, explore a bit, and let me know what you think. http://www.mazedude.com Some of the remix descriptions are a bit sparse (or missing), and I'm working on filling those in over time. Otherwise, I've brought back that nifty "compare to the original" feature that people liked from the old site, I've loaded the (available) descriptions with inspiration and reference material, and you can also play the entire American Pixels album through the site. Every track has its own URL, it's mobile-friendly... lots of good stuff. Oh, and as of last night I've also built a search engine into the platform. Check it out and share your thoughts, many thanks!

    Feedback Plz

Hello Everyone! I made this song a little while ago and would like to know what you all think. I want to make more songs like this but I'm not sure yet. Thank you!
  13. I released my latest classical piece. This song accompanies a story that I created titled Remorse Nothing More. It is a full orchestration created in FL Studio. Please let me know what you think.

  15. Figured I ought to share my stuff here. Lots of different things, mostly stuff made from my eclectic collection of virtual instruments (Kontakt etc.), weird old analog synths and the like. I prefer to go for mood/storytelling than whether or not you can dance to it. Lots of horror/ambience in here. playlists: https://soundcloud.com/tymime/sets

    Fly Free

Life is not meant to be lived in a cage like a slave. You must fly free and see the what this wonderful world has to offer.
  17. SoundPhenomenon

    Dark Souls 3 Fan Soundtrack

Even though I love the decision to have no ambient, non-diagetic, music during the areas of the souls games, I felt compelled to create a fan soundtrack for them. In any case, I hope some people will enjoy it - the whole thing is up on youtube and there is also a bandcamp album I put together for it, linked down below. The tracks cover the areas of the base game, and the DLC will have their own releases with the painted world as a solo piano soundtrack and probably limited to strings for the Ringed City judging on how it feels from the previews. https://youtu.be/AaAboDTfcuw https://soundphenomenon.bandcamp.com/album/ashen Anyone want to help me make a mod of this??? I've finished up the music for Ashes of Ariandel, and this should be up in short order.
  18. Hey guys! I haven't posted here since 2006 and back then I was just browsing and not sharing much. Since then I've been practicing composing a bit of music myself. Mainly motifs for my original cartoon/puppet characters (yes, I build puppets now.) I consider myself a total novice as I can't play any actual instrument and cannot read sheet music for the life of me. I literally just plug notes into the FL studio piano roll until it sounds like music. I'm working with free sound fonts too. So my music is pretty much midi sounding. Anyways I figure I'd share my latest composition. It's a solo piano suite of my main character's motif/theme. The backstory is that my character spent 28 years composing it and considers it his masterpiece. He plays it when he's got free time or if he want's to creep out his guests. His theme is essentially an original russian/soviet sounding march, but in this I gave it many variations. From Bach, to Mozart to even a waltz. I tend to compose music in 3 genres: Russian military, German polka and evil circus music. I suck at mixing/mastering/ orchestrating so go easy on me. I'm trying to learn more. Music isn't my main focus but I figure it's a good skill to have. Let me know what you think. Also I'm open to collaboration too. I have a bunch of unused songs/lyrics and a few ideas for video game musical numbers. Mainly Rare ltd and donkey kong country inspired. Thanks EDIT: For the record I HAVE NO IDEA if this is actually in F minor. The only reason it's titled that is because he says the F word a lot. If anyone can tell me what key it's in I'm all ears.
  19. Hey guys, I'm fairly new here and am just getting started on making original compositions for video games! I made a couple of tracks so far but may need an extra ear to see whether I'm heading in the right direction. Castor's theme attempts to exemplify the logical demeanor of "a man of few words", cold and calculating. Miranda, on the other hand, is a serene yet unyielding spirit. She represents a peaceful return from calamity, a gentle affirmation of small victories. In other words, the Kairi to your Sora for KH fans! Lastly, last chance plays when circumstances have turned for the worst and the protagonists must overcome their plight in absolute desperation I would love to hear what you all think! In the meantime, I'll continue making music as always. Thanks! Jescmo

  21. I wanted to ask for an opinion on a couple of my original pieces. They're Kingdom Hearts based but are more in my own style than Yoko's. Advice for improvement/constructive criticism is highly appreciated (just try to be nice). Here's an attempt at RPG music I did this weekend. It's a theme for both Marluxia (Kingdom Hearts COM) and to a lesser extent, General Grievous (Star Wars). I usually make my own motifs when writing music but I occasionally use bits of existing motifs (depending on the character). Tell me what you think (I've gotten a little less repetitive over time). Here's a boss theme for Maleficent and Pete in KH3. Enjoy!
  22. Here's a song I did as a tribute to Japan.
  23. An instrumental I threw together using FL Studio after I stumbled on a chord I liked. Has a trippy psychedelic, hip hop vibe to it. Uses a combo of standard drumsets, about 3 synthesizers, and an 808 plus a few plugins. Enjoy.
