3. completed Zelda: Skyward Sword - Lake Floria [Remake]
Juke posted a topic in Post Your Game ReMixes!
My remix and remake of of Lake Floria, from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. Based on Dr. Pez's guitar cover. This piece never actually really stood out to me in the game, however, I heard Dr. Pez's cover of it a few years ago and it's stuck with me ever since. Hope you can enjoy my take on it and find it relaxing! -Juke -
3. completed Kindgom Hearts: Traverse Town [Piano Remake]
Juke posted a topic in Post Your Game ReMixes!
My remake of "Traverse Town" from the PS2 game Kingdom Hearts. Just like my previous KH remake, I used the piano collections version as the base, and tried to add on from there. Hope you enjoy it! Kingdom Hearts has a lot of great music in it, both upbeat and emotional. This one is probably my favorite upbeat tune. -Juke -
3. completed Legend of Zelda: Zelda's Lullaby Jazz Arrangement
Juke replied to Bowlerhat's topic in Post Your Game ReMixes!
Sounds great! I'm more of a jazz listener, not a composer, so I can't really critique you properly at all. But from a listening standpoint, I really enjoyed it! The voice is beautiful. And the rest of the playing is fantastic, its sounds realistic, so kudos to you if you arranged and/or played it. -
My remake of my favorite track from Majora's Mask: Astral Observatory. I added a few extra themes from the game as well: Clocktown, Fairy Fountain/Select Screen, Song of Time, Tatl and Tael, and Calling the Giants. This theme always stuck out to me in the game. It always felt magical walking into this area. I hope that I could recreate some of that feeling, and that you enjoy the remake! Let me know what you think, and where I can improve. -Juke

1. work-in-progress Kraid's Lair/Brinstar Theme Remix
Juke replied to MAP3Music's topic in Post Your Game ReMixes!
I agree with Steele's comment. Good job, this is a pretty cool track! I particularly like the section from 1:50 onward. -
4. submitted Breath of the Wild: Tarrey Town [Remix]
Juke replied to Juke's topic in Post Your Game ReMixes!
Updated the track; a lot of overall sound changes to make everything balance a little better.. Should be easier to listen to now. I also added a Voice for the Lon Lon ranch part, and changed the 'fade out' ending to a normal one. I used the little jingle that plays whenever you first started the mission, or add a new significant member to the town. -
3. completed LoZ Breath of the Wild: Lurelin Village [Remix]
Juke replied to Juke's topic in Post Your Game ReMixes!
Thanks! All the instruments are Kontakt plugins. -
My remix and remake of 'Lurelin Village', from the Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild. While this game didn't have as many memorable music pieces as other Zelda games, it definitely had a few that stuck out to me, and this is one of them. The second time around, I added in some themes from Kokiri Forest, as well as Zelda and Aryll. Hope you can relax and enjoy! Ambience from CosyClothes: www.youtube.com/watch?v=n7J_pYhCK04 -Juke

3. completed Kingdom Hearts: Welcome to Wonderland [Remix]
Juke posted a topic in Post Your Game ReMixes!
My remix and remake of 'Welcome to Wonderland', from Kingdom Hearts. I used some parts of the piano piece as a baseline, and added from there. Also added in just a little bit of the Traverse Town theme; I thought it mixed in well. -Juke -

Juke replied to Juke's topic in Post Your Game ReMixes!
Updated the link with the newer version: took away a little bit of the reverb and bass. -
4. submitted Mario Kart Double Dash: Peach Beach / Daisy Cruiser [Remix]
Juke replied to Juke's topic in Post Your Game ReMixes!
Thanks, I'll tune it down a little when I make the youtube version; hopefully it'll sound clearer! -
My remix of 'Peach Beach' and 'Daisy Cruiser' from the best Mario Kart game, Double Dash. A GameCube classic. After remaking the first half, I mixed in a little bit of Sherbet Land, Title Theme, Rainbow Road, Yoshi's Island, and finally a little bit of the Race Won music at the end. Hope you can enjoy it! I'm interested in submitting this here; please let me know if this meets the requirements. -Juke Original:

3. completed Breath of the Wild: Hateno Village [Remake]
Juke posted a topic in Post Your Game ReMixes!
My remake of Hateno Village from Zelda: Breath of the Wild, with just a touch of Kakariko Village and Zelda's Theme added in. -
All, I've recently made a remake of Ocarina of Time's 'Lon Lon Ranch', trying to recreate it with same style as the Symphonic Version made from Nintendo and the Reorchestrated version from ZREO. Here's the 'no vocals' version if anyone out there wanted to hum/sing along. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1pSrI3_gWl80Au0F_OgCK3MA57wULWY6v If anyone out there is interested in actually recording yourself, please feel free and let me know if you want me to make some changes (quieter parts, different instrumentation, etc). I've already uploaded my version, so this is really just to see if someone out there wants to use my backgrounds and sing their own version. Here's mine with [fake] vocals, for comparison: I've taken out the unique ZREO section (around 1:38 onward) for the no vocals version, but can easily add it back if desired. It's currently un-mastered, but I figured I might as well share here first and see if anyone in interested before mastering it with the fake voice. Thanks, -Juke

4. submitted Breath of the Wild: Tarrey Town [Remix]
Juke replied to Juke's topic in Post Your Game ReMixes!
Thanks for taking the time to review! I've submitted to the site; in the time it takes for any judges to look at it, I'll see if I can go back and look at ending the piece vs fadeout. I left it originally as a fade out because I'm planning on doing an extended 30 min version, and I want to add in a few more themes with it. -

4. submitted Breath of the Wild: Tarrey Town [Remix]
Juke replied to Juke's topic in Post Your Game ReMixes!
Updated track with a video; I made the recorders a little bit softer and the Majora's Mask a little bit less intrusive by removing the cello. -
3. completed Super Mario 64 - Dire Dire Docks (Ackatos Remix)
Juke replied to Ackatos's topic in Post Your Game ReMixes!
Really cool remix! The synth lead when the drums kick in sounds especially good. -
4. submitted Breath of the Wild: Tarrey Town [Remix]
Juke replied to Juke's topic in Post Your Game ReMixes!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. My complaint about Tarrey Town: I really wished you could've built your home there, instead of Hateno. It would've been YOUR village then. They could have even given you the choice of where to build it on the pillar too. Even better, (had the game had a better story element), the Marriage event could've been you x Zelda/Paya/whoever after you built your house and the town. A romance element could've made the game so much better imo. -
Tarrey Town was my favorite track in Breath of the Wild; I loved how it mixed in themes from other places in the game as you built it up. I tried to remake the start variant and full variant in the beginning, keeping close to the original, and then expand on it with themes from other places in the Zelda series as well. So imagine Tarrey Town in the Zelda Universe now, I guess. Extra themes in order of appearance: OoT Kokiri Forest OoT Lon Lon Ranch OoT Castle Market OoT Kakariko Village OoT Gerudo (The plucked instrument) OoT Goron City WW Dragon Roost WW Outset Island MM Astral Observatory MM Clocktown SS Skyloft Zelda Theme These were just some of my favorite places in the Zelda series and I thought that I could mix them in well enough. Please let me know what you think! Maybe which ones mixed in well, not so well, or other themes that might fit in their too! I plan on submitting this to OCRemix, if a judge could help me out and let me know if they would accept it. Thanks! Original:

1. work-in-progress LoZ Skyward Sword: The Lumpy Pumpkin [Remix]
Juke replied to Juke's topic in Post Your Game ReMixes!
Thanks for the reply! About being close to the source material in instrumentation, that's definitely a bias for me and I'm waiting for judge to let me know if its too much for this site. I love OCRemix, and have subscribed to them on different accounts for a few years, but my biggest grievance is when I click on a remix of a song that I know and love, just to find out that the remix hardly sounds like the original at all. Sometimes it feels like remixes are trying to use the video game music platform to push their own original music, as opposed to using their own talents to make beautiful video game music. My favorite remixes, consequently are of remixes that sound close that what I love in the original but have a sense of uniqueness to them, be it instrumentation, implementation, etc. My current style is to make the first iteration of a vgm loop close to the original, and then expand with new themes or instruments later in the song. That being said, I completely understand why you might find that boring or unoriginal, and why a potential judge might think the same. I'll have to make sure future submissions unique then. Thanks again! -
I realize that I posted a different track earlier, but I just finished this one today and I feel that it's probably a better suit for Overclocked Remix. I used themes from Lon Lon Ranch and Kakariko Village; this was partly inspired by the tavern in Link Between Worlds, where the musicians there would play themes from different area's/games. This idea for this piece is that you walk into a tavern playing the Lumpy Pumpkin Theme, but the players also mix in elements from other games as well. If this site has a rule against Soundscape elements (ie, tavern background, beginning and end), please let me know; it's too easy to remove it. Enjoy, and let me know if it has potential to be submitted here! Original: -Juke
