  1. https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/917723 I used RYM2612, RYMCast and Plogue's chipsounds in Mixcraft 8 Pro Studio.
  2. My most recent addition to this project, Sand Trap. https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/916203 It's a work in progress at the moment, but I'm throwing it in this thread for documentation of my progress.
  3. This is not something I plan on submitting or anything, but it does qualify for this forum section, being a game remix. Newgrounds Listen Page I have no issue with someone taking this concept and running it through with real guitar work. But please let me know if you do!
  4. https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/916203 It's just over 2 minutes long at this point. Any input at all is welcome. What's good, what's bad, let me know.
  5. https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/906509 This was put on the front page of the site for Pixel Day, a Newgrounds event about retro video games.
  6. I'm pretty sure there are no pitch bends in this composition. There are some rapid series of notes in some places to somewhat emulate a pitch bend. However, there is some dissonance at some parts. I'm pretty sure that was Bertn1991's intention, though. As for the pitch bend issues I've had in the past, they're somewhat irrelevant, as the plugins I currently use have adjustable pitch bend range (1-12 in RYM2612, 1-12, 24, 36 and 48 in Plogue Chipsounds). I've used automation to change the pitch bend range of RYM2612 during the song to make editing the pitch wheel controller less of a chore.
  7. https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/904965 Composed by Brent Bunn and "Genesized" by me. It's 8 minutes long and I don't expect anyone to listen to the whole thing.
  8. https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/904968 Not as good as the original, but it's a nice retro spin.
  9. https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/903526 Drop the bassssssssss...
  10. A few years ago? I take it you never remastered or did it again. I dunno if it's just me, but it sounds to me like you did this in a different key. Do you have your original takes on the guitar? If you used a virtual amp, I'd love to have those stems (without the amp) and throw it into B Major (the original key). I'd also do some other things, like reverb on the lead guitar (it actually sounds like a synth tbh). It's pretty good as is, but I really would love to take this to the OCR level with some rearrangement and such. I have Melodyne, so the above mentioned pitch shift won't be obvious/aliased. More notes on the piece itself. I do like the synthesizer in the background with that "choral" effect. It lends the piece more of a polish than just being a rock/metal piece.
  11. I think the ladder effect is too present in this one https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/902318
  12. https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/902469 Because, uh, yeah...
  13. https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/902036 Free to listen and download. Enjoy!

  15. I'm putting this here because I don't think it really belongs in Poast Your Original Music. Not long ago, I purchased RYM2612 (developed by Inphonik), and I had a lot of fun with it. This is one of the things I did with it. https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/900571 For the PSG (square waves), I used Plogue's chipsounds plugin. It is the best you're ever going to find if you want sick pitch bending capability. The toms, kick and snare drums are from TMKD, crushed with RYM2612. The crash cymbal is from Trisamples 808 Trapstep Sample Pack Vol. 2. Any other "percussion" you hear is the PSG noise channel. And yes, it has the ladder effect going on, if you couldn't tell.
  16. https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/899114 Really short, though.
  17. Kinda last minute, but I think I'll take a crack at this. No guarantees.
  18. https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/897845 I used a volume envelope on the PSG. It's not a Game Boy >:(
  19. https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/897792 I used Inphonik RYM2612 and Plogue Chipsounds (for SN76489) plugins. The ladder effect can create some interesting timbres...
  20. https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/896747 Short, sweet and bouncy.
  21. Oh, so you're saying she didn't trip over a hot iron...I'm guessing she got fisted instead?
  22. Loop here: https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/896595 "Full" version coming soon...
  23. Okay, we get it. Cool your tits.
  24. https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/896471 It's not even a remix, but I thought it would be appropriate to poast in this forum instead of "Post Your Original Music!" I used RYM2612 to make this, which I recently purchased due to the fact that it really sounds like the original hardware. It even has a DAC output feature to crush down the drums!
