I like Bleach though it's just DBZ with weapons, same for naruto (but it's ninjas). I enjoyed Prince of Tennis quite a bit, but it's somewhat an older series. Beck is one of the best modern anime's I've seen. It's about a Japanese rock band. Playing live shows, writing songs and still making time for school and girls. Characters are handled really well and the music is pretty amazing and filled with Engrish. One of the main guys lived in America for awhile so he sometimes uses broken English. I haven't been hooked onto many good anime's lately. Haruhi is frickin awesome though. Just doesn't seem like there's as much quality stuff coming out anymore.

Man, people are crazy. That's very cool. I bet alot of work went into that, it seems like it to me anyway. Do you think that if sony was uber successful with the ps3 people would be modding it to run off of ipods (there was a wii one) etc?

QFE I haven't played my Wii since i beat Zelda. Probably getting SPM in april. I don't have a ps3 YET. I'll probably get one around christmas. Both platforms have a lot of games coming out but neither system has this many AAA titles coming this year. I'm seriously considering that Black 360 again. If the new hard drive is going to be 200 bucks alone then MS is fucking crazy, crazy like billionaires because i know it will sell like hotcakes.

Theres a bunch of reasons to have one (even more if you don't have a ps3). 1. halo3 2. forza2/project gotham 4 (both this year) 3. mass effect 4. blue dragon 5. bioshock 6. lost odyssey 7. eternal sonata 8. crackdown (already released though) 9. VF5 (maybe with extras the ps3 version doesnt have. online play? fuck i hope so ) 10. Grand theft auto 4 (not xbox exclusive but again if you don't have a ps3 why not?) I'm not an xbox fanboy though i sure do sound like one. I rarely do play mine these days but there's alot of great shit coming out this year. Also Castlevania SOTN looks like shit, maybe it's just my HDTV but i remember it looking better.

I was on seraph. The economy was fine when i played, but when i came back there was alot of inflation. I remember a stack of fire crystals used to go for 1500, and i think they go for 2500 or 3000 gil now. and like i mentioned with the lizard gear, level 17 if i remember right was like 30k just for the chest.

when FFXI for 360 cameout i revived my old Ps2 character. Having sold ALL my stuff and gave my gils to a friend, i was somewhat screwed. The economy was so fucked up too, I'm not paying 70K for some fucking lizard gear. Anyway i bought gil, like 8 million which lasted me awhile, i was finally able to have some good equipment. And even then i quit after a couple months. In FFXI even using the bathroom takes like 8 hours. It's like the sand'oria bathroom door's locked and the key is in Yuhtunga jungle and then you gotta take it to a key smith in bastok, and then you get back to sandoria with the key and you gotta go to crawlers nest and slay a scorpion to get the epic toilet paper. Stupid shit like that made me quit. (I'm exaggerating but still)

I would LOVE to have a black xbox360. I can't see myself buying a new one though. The 120 gigs would be awesome, but i could live without it. Doesn't seem like theres enough difference in it to warrant buying it again. If it were smaller or something i would consider it. If my 360 craps out i'll probably pick one up, it's been freezing in Viva Pinata alot lately.

It's like the same thing with GTA4. Releasing it on PS3 with so low of an installment base wouldn't make good business sense though in the longrun it'll even out. By releasing it on 360 which has a bigger installed base (year headstart) they are making more profit sooner.

I've played Wow and FFXI quite a bit. I prefer the Job's in FFXI as opposed to the classes in Wow. But Wow plays a bit better. FYI on FFXI i played warrior to 37, samurai to 57 and ninja to about 20. On warcraft i had a warrior about 35 and a paladin at 60 (both alliance, Non pvp server). I love the fact that in Wow you can solo pretty much solo the whole game until the raids. I hate the end game in Wow, i never went to MC or ZG or anything, but i did some instances, strat/Diremaul stuff like that. I hate the fact in XI that you HAVE to party but i think the party aspect works alot better than it does in Wow. I'm antisocial as all hell though, I'm the guy who never plugs his Mic in on XBoxlive, i don't care where the hell you're from or that you just "pwned" my ass. Anyways i hope they make a next gen sequel to FFXI, it does alot of stuff right, the world is fun and the job system was pretty sweet.

Yeah You're right about 360 this year, they've really gotten themselves in a positition to kick some ass. There's at least a game a month that looks like a purchase. Mass Effect, Bioshock, shadowrun, VF5, GTA4, Halo3, forza2, project gotham 4, Blue dragon and then that half life box stuff. Looks like a fun year. I'm probably only getting VF5, Mass effect, halo3, GTA4 and Blue dragon. Not much of a racing/shooting fan.

SO EB games calls me this morning and leaves me a message about my Halo 3 Legendary Edition revervation. Turns out the only thing legendary is the price point. First of all you had to lay down $25 for the reserve ( a fourth of the previous price) but they call today to inform me that it's now $129.99. I'm, debating not getting it, i don't really mind the pricepoint except that it's just hard to swallow for some art books/storyboards and a small helmet. I guess we're just lucky that they let us keep the reservation instead of demanding more money. but seriously WTF Bungie? Or microsoft whatever.

So that Naruto Geckito Ninja Taisen Ex game for wii is coming to america this year. That's cool but wait it's not going to be the same game. The main reason i wanted to play it was because it involved the shippuden characters and the newer storyline (much like the narutimate hero ps2 games). They're actually taking out all the shippuden stuff (as i understand it) to match up with Shonen jump naruto in america. *sigh*

I do want a ps3 now, I'm not sure why though. Home sounds like a good waste of time. It reminds me of the Clubs in Test Drive Unlimited (xbox360 though i think coming to ps3) where it's just you and your friends (or their avatars really) hanging out in a room, it was just glorified voice chat but it was amusing. Little Big Planet looks really impressive too. I want it for MGS4 and hopefully another Zone of the Enders also. But I'm still going to wait until the end of the year because i need to pay off my HDTV and some other things.

Yeah it is pretty manly. Though at my viewing there were quite a few females there, even without boyfriends or guy friends.

At least 3 the last time i checked. Kidding. I'm conflicted on the crappy voice acting. It's like the KillBill thing. It's stupid and over the top but that was the goal, so is that good? Guess it depends on your preference. No More Heroes trailer reminds me of Gungrave. Mmm..gungrave.

Saw it last night at the IMax at the Mall of Georgia. It was my first Imax experience too. Movie was good, i wouldn't say great. I also wouldn't say it was at groundbreaking as the Matrix or whatever the commercial says. It's a good movie with some great scenes and some good camera work and visual imagery (spl check). As an action movie it's fantastic and i suppose the storyline is good but it didn't keep me guessing or anything, i pretty much knew what was going to happen. It also had it's fair share of titties and one giant shot of man-ass. I'm not really a comic fan, or a Frank Miller fan (I thought Sin City was ok) but i recommend seeing it. Alot of people were drinking in the theatre, and apparently college kids love frank miller, i was expecting some obese kids akin to the comic book guy from the Simpsons but mostly just trendy college kids showed up.

Yeah that does sorta blow. I'm so glad i got both at launch, but i had no clue that it would turn out as bad as this. Specially the DS, there's no reason that it shouldn't be everywhere. I was at EBstop a few weeks ago picking up crackdown and the guy tried to sell me a pink DSlite because it came in the same shipment. He claimed it would be gone in about an hour, I'm sure it was, but seriously WTF nintendo? Those videos of Super Paper Mario are way beyond my expectations for the game. I'm definately looking forward to picking that up. It's a bit sad, i was thinking about what Wii games i'm looking forward to this year and it's nothing but 1st party stuff. I'm sure that's quite common but i did buy rayman, elebits and SMB at or near launch but traded them in. I kept excite truck and zelda (both 1st party games) I hope there's an ouendan or EBA game coming to the Wii, that would be kinda sweet.

When is it? I think it starts tomorrow (wednesday) though there were was some rpg panel thing on tuesday (I think).
