  1. A GOOD floating trem, like an original Floyd Rose, Wylkinson, Kahler or the Ibanez Lo-Pro will NOT go out of tune. The cheap tremolo that's on your RG5EX1 isn't worth keeping. I suggest you made due for now while you save for a Floyd Rose (an Original one, they cost about $200) to replace it with. Also, Ibanez Wizard necks are some of the best around, I'd only trade it for a Jackson of similar value, like the KVX10.
  2. Bass strings for the lower 3? That'll snap your guitars neck like an Irishmans penis inside a Germans womans asshole. You probably have your information wrong, check again and post why you think they're bass strings?
  3. Most bang 4 ur bux = bittorrent ROGLE Seriously though, most people here are amateurs, they wouldn't know what to do with Logic other than treat it like FL or any other simpler sequencer. Those fancy things are made for studios who actually know what they're doing and how to utilize the full potential of stuff like the logic programmer in Cubas..... shit, I'm turning into the next Compyfag
  4. People who know me know that I only use two softsynths (the only ones that are based on hardsynths I've actually used). This will help me expand my repertoire, so I thank you!
  5. Oh, Kanjika, there's something in your Sky Sanctuary track that I'm not sure about. At the beginning there is a cymbal trail that decays right before the song starts. Did you intentionally put that in there? I opened the file in Cool Edit and you have a couple markers there, one is marked Noise Floor, maybe you meant to use that as a referance and accidentally left it in? I can take this out no problem, and put a digital silence in its place so the track starts at the same time that you intended it, let me know.
  6. Okay, I now have all the songs in my possesion, minus 2 that are mine. One is Doomsday which I had to restart a while ago because the project was corrupted, and the other is the collaboration with Braincells who is waiting for my drum tracks. Both are pretty much done, all that's left is some finishing touches and then the process of getting the site ready for launch. This is the time to be paitent. We might release a teaser site to keep you busy and interested while we get finish the full site.
  7. Thank you Blueberry, as I said in the PM I sent you, I will accept your kind offer. Also, anyone who is offering file mirroring, let me know soon, I will (most likely refer you to Hadyn... ) give you the details so everything can be ready for a universal release. ALSO I NEED THE FOLLOWING SONGS FROM THE FOLLOWING PEOPLE! PLEASE SEND TO ME EITHER IN WAV FORMAT OR MAXIMUM BITRATE MP3 Daniel Baranowsky - Marble Garden(Song), Boss 1(song and Title) Kanjika - Hidden Palace(Song and Title) Sky Sanctuary(Song and Title) chthonic - Special Stage(Song) Ichitootah -Balloon Park Competition(Song) EVERYONE ELSE MAKE SURE THAT I HAVE YOU SONG WRITEUPS! ALL I NEED IS A SHORT PARAGRAPH ABOUT EACH ONE OF YOUR SONGS, NO PHOTOS OR BIOS! THANK YOU!
  8. Also, I moved all the boss themes to the main soundtrack. They're not "special" themes.
  9. Ofcourse it's gonna be on there. He did a damn fine job on it. KFC will still get the credit that's due to him, it's not like I'm erased the fact that he ever had any involvement with this. Right now I'm gathering all the songs and info together, tagging and naming everything. And then Hadyn and I have to decide how much of the artist profiles will be on there (if at all), and how we're gonna lay things out. Hadyn has been EXTREMELY patient with us and it's time he got a word in as to how we're gonna finish this thing up. So as soon as he and I can talk, we'll lay out a plan on how to release the project.
  10. Hadyn, I don't mean that the website will be ready by then, I'll PM you with all the details. I've left all the dealings about the site to you and KFC, but there was nothing done. Anyway, I'll get all the details to you, and we'll work out a full on release .
  11. An unfortunate update... KFC is no longer on this project. For a very long time now, he's done nothing but derail this thing, made a fool of himself over and over, and has forced me to defend him and the project to the OCR staff when quite frankly, I agreed with them. I've had to answer the question "Why don't you kick him off already?" for almost a year now. Since he's the one who started this, it didn't seem right to me to kick him off. Thankfully, KFC has accepted what he's been doing and has stepped down (although he's pulling the "It's what I wanted all along!" act...) It really is a shame for this to happen just a few days before the project is to be released. There are more things that have forced us to this, but that's all a private matter and this is all anyone else needs to know. Rexy and I will be releasing this project soon. It should be ready for release by this weekend... I thank KFC for the work he did do... it saddens me to have to make this post. Anyway, the project will be done soon. Thank fucking God. Hopefully now the endless drama and torrent of bullshit will leave with the one who brought it.
  12. As it stands now, the only songs that need completeing are Sonic 3 boss 1 and KFCs tracks. I gave Dan a final deadline of next sunday to finish the boss theme, if KFC doesnt finish his data select by next Sunday, it's getting cut from the project. If I dont get any work from him on credits by tonight or tomorrow, I'm gonna give the track to someone who can do it by Sunday. No more waiting on this shit. The project ends soon.
  13. Oh, well the GYM at least. I don't know if we can spare all that bandwidth to get the OST on there.
  14. There's no reason to have the original soundtrack on the album.
  15. Then everyone will be able to RAWK like me! NO WAY I'M SHARING!
  16. Hey Kyle, I lost my guitar soundfont, I can't ReMix without it. So put my songs on hold till I find it ok?
  17. Hey "Z", how's about you stop flooding this topic? I know you're excited but you're really beginning to piss me off. Any more shit from you and I'll start deleting all your posts.
  18. On top of not knowing shit, you don't even take into consideration the fact that drum construction was dramatically different back in those days. Drums just sounded different than they do now. They were usually tighter, less resonant and sounded alot like that stupid break. The main thing that contributes to the sound of that amen break is the drumkit itself, the playing, and the natural compression that would be the result of the microphones and recording equipment at the time. Anyone who has used vintage recording consoles and mics can tell you that they sound very different from the stuff we use today. They roll off naturally compress certain key frequencies that result in that (now) much sought after "vintage" sound. So yeah, that drum section is not processed any differently than a natural drum section is processed today.
  19. The problem with game remixing guides is that they're all based on the writers opinion. I think that your guide would lead someone to the path of constant OCR rejection and an endless circle of mediocre music. The first thing someone needs to do when they want to "ReMix" is learn what really makes up the music they personally like to listen to. When you understand what makes the music you like sound the way it does, you can learn to emulate it until you're good enough to create your own style. I knew nothing of software and sampling and recording when I got into music. I didn't need tutorials to learn about what I needed to do. I had the internet, and search engines. If someone needs a guide on how to get started on this, then their music won't be worth listening to.
  20. Creativity is the best soundfont. -The more you know-
  21. Absolutely, Hadyn. Send it to me whatever way is best for you.
