I believe video games should aim to be more stylized instead of focusing on being realistic. You take the most realistic game today, and in a scant few years, it looks like ass compared to whatever is the best they're making then. However, you can take Wind Waker twenty years from now and compare it to the whatever the cream of the crop will be then and Wind Waker will still hold up. You think Looney Toons became outdated once Scooby Doo Where Are You hit the television?

What is Retro Game Challenge? Retro Game Challenge is a DS game where you must complete challenges in parodies of your favorite 8-bit classics to defeat the demon digitized version of Shinya Arino, host of Japanese game show Retro Game Master. What separates this from other minigame compilations? It's not really a minigame compilation, so much as it's a collection of brand new full length 8-bit games. Each game is a homage/parody of a classic Famicom game. Titles include: Uh, I'm not gonna bother bolding the really obscure Japanese games that I've never heard of. I was on the fence on bolding Mappy. Moving on... What else do you do? It's the 80s and you're a kid again. You read gaming magazines! What else? Gaming magazines contain reviews and cheat codes! Why the FUCK does everyone rag on Tom Cruise in The Last Samurai? It's about a foreigner adopting another culture, did you miss that part? You know, where they show him as an American Civil War vet hired to wipe out the samurai akin to the US Military wiping out Native Americans? And then gets the crap kicked out of him and lives with the enemy? And then adopting the culture of his captors? And then sympathizing with them? And then after an unfair slaughter I don't know, became the Last Samurai!? Was there an alternate version of the movie where a Japanese couple had a white son that grew up to be the only white American samurai and then the Japanese samurai made fun of him and wouldn't let him play samurai games? And then did the Japanese samurai get smallpox, leaving the white American samurai to be THE LAST SAMURAI? I somehow missed this. The Last Samurai was an excellent film and though Tom Cruise is crazy as hell, the man can act and isn't given enough credit due to his public image. Dragonball: Evolution is gonna suck balls.

There's making alterations to an adaptation for the sake of making it work better in a different media and then there's movies like this where the producers are the kind of people who wipe their ass and then blow their nose on the same square of toilet paper.

I just did some research. Oddly enough, Lucca's English Wikipedia entry is deleted. But, the Japanese one says it's ”ルッカ(Rukka),” so "Luka" would be the correct pronunciation. Marle is ”マール（Maru),” So drop the u at the end, and you got Marl. Won't stop me from calling her "Marley" though. Much cuter.

I call them "Luka" and "Marley." The other ways just sound retarded. And I don't care if they're supposed to be pronounced differently or not.
