  1. Wouldn't it be weird if someone ReMixed "Until Forever" as a submission to OCR?
  2. A friend of mine from college is a history major with a serious hard-on for that time and place. He's either gonna really love it or really hate it.
  3. Wow, a D2X league? The game's only been out for like, ten years.
  4. This is just the track I need when I roll through the Zebes hood blastin' on punk-ass Space Pirates. Nice-nice
  5. I have no talent, skill, or knowledge whatsoever in making music. However, if this project as a whole does someday see a production phase, I'd beinterested in doing some voice work. I tried to novelize CT a long time ago... I seem to have lost the disk.
  6. Yeah, I knew you had to steal Dark Matter from Zeromus to take the sting out of his Big Bang attack, but I still had to be at like level 80 something to beat him (with Rosa on medic and Edge throwing everything... Edge kept dying)
  7. I love this mix, and it's prequel. Are you working on the other one/ones? I'm saving my last CD so I can put them all on at once. I'm sure it/they will turn out great. (the /'s mean I forgot how many forms Kefka has, let alone has themes for...)
  8. Dude, quit fucking around and just change your name to God already. Seriously. LOVED this mix, as well as your past few, including your Sonic 3D/Busta Rhymes remix. Come to think of it, all the stuff I have of yours is mint... except for that Ice Cap mix (even though I still have it...) Is that YOUR voice at the beginning? Anyway, keep up the good work.
  9. C'est francios? Engrish prease, Kurono-san Nah, j/k; it's a cool track. The chicks must dig you and your open-shirt remixing style. C'est tres bien. That's about the extent of my French vocab, having taken Italiano in high school.
  10. Since these two pussies--I mean, PUSSIES--keep getting mentioned, I will once again reiterate the strategy that llowed me to conquer them with a minimal amount of effort: do whatever preparations you usually do; Final Attack=Phoenix, Mime, KOR, etc. Make sure someone has Hades. Hades STOPS the weapons. As in the Stop spell, meaning that they shouldn't be counterattaking. The best team to use is Cloud, Cid and Barret, since their limits all do over 10,000 HP apiece (if you're feeling lucky you can sub Tifa for one of them, but those 3 do THE most damage IMO). Don't remeber too clearly, but I think Ruby was still able to counter KOR with Ultima despite being Stopped, but you can just use Bahamut ZERO instead until your limits fill again. I usually have my active party in Fury at all times (Limit fills faster), but I finally realized what made it a negative status: apparently, you take more damage from attacks. Butagain, if you feel lucky, it's something to consider doing.
  11. Oh... my... God... --can't... stop... playing it.... kicks... too much... ass..... SPEED UPPU!!!
  12. It's kinda silly, really... I should try casting Stop on all nasty bosses in Square games... Golem Twins fell to it FF7 Ruby and Emerald fell to it... eventually... Hope they don't catch on... just remember kids, if all else fails, STOP!
  13. I find the easiest way to dispatch them--the first time through, anyway--is to use elemental 2x or 3x Techs. Their copycat version of Shadow is their weakest attack. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you use ANY PHYSICAL ATTACK, as their version of that is the strongest (five energy balls come out of them and smack you for about hlaf your life, and don't forget about the Iron Ball, which DOES take half your remaining HP and they can do at any time). Having Marle on your team and Hasting everyone is a good idea. With Ayla on your team, she can steal Magic Tabs from each of them and the first Golem, but if you don't care about that, use Lucca and Marle's Antipode. Use Crono's magic at your own discrecion (sp?), as the Golem's version is pretty nasty too. See? Simple. EDIT: Actually, forget everything I just said. I just remembered that Ayla and Robo's Boogie (casts Stop on all enemies) works on the Golems. If you're lucky, BOTH get stopped, and you can you whatever you feel like to them. AND you can swipe their Magic Tabs.
  14. uhh... dude? *nudges khrys* The OTHER Biolizard... Prolly shoulda mentioned I meant BOTH of them, huh?
  15. Biolizard is hard, but just takes a good eye and a little patience... and Ruby isn't that hard. Use Hades. Trust me. Hades casts STOP (!!!) on both Weapons. That was the only way I even stood a chance, since the game was on loan to me I didn't have the time or patience to Master any Materia.

  17. I didn't recognize anything other than the first theme (can't get past the first truck... grr.) Auuuuugggghhhh--I like it, I love it, I want some more of it!
  18. Once again, musical tastes (I don't really subscribe to the whole tropical beat thing) and the fact that I was all about StarTropics back when I had an NES notwithstanding, I liked this mix. Despite the instrument choices--which are, of course, VERY appropriate given the theme/setting of the game--I rocked out to this. Muy bueno, and all that.
  19. Having had Axelay back in the day (and now as a ROM on my comp, so the tunes are still fresh in my mind) this track piqued my interest. Musical tastes notwithstanding, I love it. The transition to the boss theme--which I'm listening to right this moment, actually-- is pretty cool. I think I can hear violin in here; interesting choice. Fits well. If anything detrimental can be said, it's that it sounds a bit too much like the original...which may or may not be a bad thing. I'll always have that tune stuck in my head anyway, and this is fresh enough (with the damn GUITARS like it shoulda been in the game) to replace the sound of the original in my head. Overall: badass!
  20. I'm finding Street Fighter Alpha 3's M. Bison to be the toughest boss I've yet encountered. He can throw you from sweep range, but you have to be practically INSIDE him to throw him. Even though X-Ism chars. can't air block he can. He's Chun-Li's size with Sagat's reach. A full-screen Super that does about 75-80% damage unblocked, and can ONLY be blocked on the ground; AND near-perfect timing (even on diff. 3? WTF?!) for launching it so that when he does throw it, you're doing something else and CAN'T block. Or worse: he does it after you start to whoop his ass then he gets mad and you know the Psycho Crusher's coming but you try to push your luck and press him but then he Psycho Crushes you and you feel like a RETARD because you KNEW IT WAS COMING... SONOFABITCHIHATEYOUDIE!!!!! Ahem. Well, I finally beat him with DAN HIBIKI, eroding my left thumb nearly to the bone in the process. I was to the point of trying to get Bison to throw his Psycho crusher for the sole purpose of me blocking it. I tore him a new one with Chun-Li though. In fact, she's the only one I've beaten the game with so far and had a 6-figure score (from beating Bison in one match.) For some reason, I'm apparently extremely lucky with her... She was the first character I beat any Street Fighter game with, and the only character I could beat my roommate with (who eats diff. 8 Street Fighter 3 for breakfast). Beat him with with Karin too (I got bored... soon I'm gonna have to learn how to use "charge" characters). I actually managed to lock him up with her... one good way to beat a cheap fighter is to be a little cheaper.
