  1. My mistake. I read Jenga's comment on Page 1 and sort of assumed that's what you were after. I still stand by my comments about the drums and the overall feel of the mix. While technically good, I think it could have been better.
  2. Where's G-T? I want to have a look at his album art.
  3. That's a fairly shallow thing to say. But you're right about the way they add to the ambience. After all, the voice clips didn't cause the holocaust, the man did.
  4. I think it would have more of an impact if most people didn't hear the whole thing until the release date, including the mixers.
  5. I didn't like how it started. It sounded very half-effort to me. The drums I'm not fond of, they sound like they're being played down a tube. For a "heavy metal" style track this is missing the "heavy." The guitar playing is fine, I just think it could have been mixed better. The parts where the strumming guitar comes in gives the mix a more full sound, which is what I like to hear. Not a bad effort, but I think this could have been better, it doesn't sound powerful enough. Congrats on the direct post though.
  6. in the back cover the artwork must play a weaker part than the front and the text has to atract the attention. Even so, there are more professional looking ways of dulling the background without simply lowering the brightness. All 21 tracks are being remixed. Firecrackers back cover just doesn't have them all listed yet.
  7. I don't like the lowered brightness over the flare and logo.
  8. Do not oppose the ruling of the High Court, of which I am the most eminent representative. You, Mr. Oji are in contempt! Bailiff Byrd in da house. "You there, what's your name?" "Uh.. Anthony?" "Anthony, you're irritating me" ".. Sorry." Judge Judy in da house. I was watchin' this one episode yesterday, Judge Judy thought the defendant was so stupid she had Byrd explain it to him instead.
  9. Yeah, patience everyone. I'd rather Kirby keep the public eye for a while so that doom gets a proper go.
  10. Hey Dj Redlight, number 3! Good to see the final doom mixes still rolling in. I'm struggling to recognise which piece this is from final doom, it sounds familiar though so I'll have to have a listen through. Edit: I'm assuming it's This Piece? (Ogg format) Great work though, much happier than any of the other Final Doom mixes on the site, this has that action feel that some of the original doom songs had. Excellent work, very enjoyable mix. Keep them coming, Dj Redlight!
  11. Judge Judy is my idol. She puts up with no shit. You know I love you Larry, but Judge Judy would probably burn me if I didn't vote for her.
  12. If you don't have the images/tools to make your image better, then the best solution is to find them. Everything I do is with photoshop and random plugins and images I find for free on the web. There are tutorials and such too.
  13. Dear God you do? see, Roe, the idea is not to respond and then they won't have a legitemate reason to post in the thread anymore.
  14. cover art is all welcome, but a decent effort is required. Stand back and think.. "if someone else made this, would I want to use it?" Waiting on Myth still, I think the project could afford to wait a little longer, let kirby have it's time in the prime, 2 weeks is too soon, and we still have things to do.
  15. I don't think Hell's Keep is on the project because it was (like some other songs) minor adaptations of another song from the game. Something klm09 decided back in september. All the songs are in the project, none are cut. Hell keep is E3M1, the music in E3M1 is the same as the music in E2M9, which was taken by Nousentre. This is a list I made a while back. Level - Track Name - Level Name and the songs influenced by: E1M1 - At Doom's Gate - The Hangar Metallica - Master of Puppets (Beginning) Metallica - No Remorse Slayer - Behind the Crooked Cross (Middle) E1M4 - Kitchen Ace (And Taking Names) - Command Control Pantera - Rise E2M1 - I Sawed the Demons - Deimos Anomaly ACDC - Big Guns E2M3 - Intermission from Doom - Refinery Pantera - Regular People E3M1 - Untitled - Hell's Keep Pantera - Mouth for War E3M3 - Deep Into the Code - Pandemonium Slayer - Behind the Crooked Cross (Beginning)
  16. Perhaps, if you have a really long nose, and you were playing a really slow song. or perhaps you could chop your nose off and use it as a pick
  17. LOL. You know how they say you can judge controller size with the distance between your thumb tip and forefinger? Well, someone can hit an octave with those fingers. Cha-ching. It isn't the size of the controller, it's how you use it. So say the owners of this beauty: now that's a bent controller!

  19. WIP? Aren't you meant to be done by now?
  20. The piano is inspired by "The Rain Must Fall" by Yanni. Blad's quite open about his Yanni boneration.
  21. That's very good, Evilhorde. *writes on a post-it-note "Commit Evilhorde"*
  22. I'd give it a little longer than that.
  23. because if we took out every bitchy post, we'd probably end up back around 200 posts. Heck why don't we just delete your account TO? I have 1 or 2 posts that aren't bitching.
