I haven't listened to this song for like 4 days, and 4 days ago it had a 92.5% rating in my head. But, then I decided to give it the honor of being the first mix to receive a 95% from me. Honestly, if I find anything better, I'm going to have to toughen up my rating system.....maybe even have to find an exact formula for what I shouls rate things. Let me put that in big, bold letters for you. THIS SONG IS THE BEST DAMN SONG I'VE EVER LISTENED TO!!!!

Did McV do this on an actual piano or an electric one? Well, doesn't matter, either way this ReMix is great. 90%

This is a nice co-op mix of Ogre Battle [which I've never played, though I wish I had...well, at least I rented Ogre Battle 64 and have Tactics Ogre, but I'm getting sidetracked.] This has a great dramatic feel to it...the voice samples, those string-instrument-sounding-things-whatever, the very pace of it... I just can't stop listening to it. I don't know what else to say, I'm already mimicing the people before me. So...here. 92.5% Cherish it and love it forever, I still haven't found a mix that surpasses that rating.

I'd just be repeating what everyone else said about this mix if I did a full review, so I'll just give it a 90%. Nice Work! Oh, and one more thing. I don't really mind the guitars in the heavy areas, but that's probably because of one or more of the following things: 1. I was using headphones on my laptop to listen to this, and/or 2. I'm deaf in the left ear [poor me]

Heh, I almost laughed when I first played this mix. Nice style choice. I don't mind the lack of bass, either. 87.5%

I'm not a fan of classical music whatsoever, but oddly enough, I love this track. Could just be the nostalgia, though. Has a few modern elements in it. That gives it a nice touch. 85% This mix just shows how easy it is to follow the open-mindedness policy DJP set forth.

Well, I've decided to go on another rating rampage today like I did a few months ago. This is a nice mix of the Starfox theme song. The drums and horns give it a military feel, and [to put it in a sissy, "I think people care about what goes on in my head" way] it's as if Fox is walking down to his Arwing. Bah, I hate doing papers like that in English class... 85%

The techno background nice, and you've kept pretty much everything from the original. A nice mix to listen to when you want something that'll get you a little awake, but don't want it to scream at you to listen to it. Approval Rating: 87.5%

Whoa, this is awesome! Love the part that starts at 2:01! Hats off to DarkSword. I admire your work. Approval Rating: 92.5% [never went over this rating on OCR, meaning this is as close to perfect as it can get for me. Not to say I'm not easy to please, I'm just saving up 7.5% for something that's absolutely, nearly impossibly phenomenal (SP?). )

I really don't have a lot of orch music [tho i have some music that has pretty much the same feeling as this], from what I've heard, this is just one of the most beutiful pieces on this entire site. Seriously. 90%

I like the piano intro. I also like that you've used techno for this mix, really adds a unique atmosphere.

I like the techno feel to this song. I don't think this song is generic, because it still has its happy little tune intact. Now, is happy generic? 85% An average-length track that is enjoyable, and for being just a tad repetitive, it really does fly by.

My only gripe is that it sounds too much like the original. That having been said, of course it's going to keep the original feel of the song. I liked the original, and still do [perhaps a little too much for a 14-year-old]. I really don't think he could have done much more with it tho, it is an ending theme that sounds like a lullaby, can't really do much with that.

Kinda good, but the Mute City theme could have been mixed better. I really don't like the "weird" aspect of it, and it doesn't have enough of the original mute city theme in it. Approval Rating: 70%

A nice little "vacaton" mix....Not exactly what I wanted to hear with Big Blue, considering that most other genres could have done a better job with it when done right. Not that I'm saying it's bad, just that it's not going to go on my list of favs. 82.5%

Dude, I love the intro.....reminds me a hell of a lot like the little intro to Corneria, when it says, in big, bold, flashing letters, "SCRAMBLE" with uninterpretable voices in the BG.....you remixed the corneria theme nicely....second half was a nice little relaxing thing, but there's very little trace of any SF music there....not from what I remember anyway.... EDIT: Screw it. After further listening I found nothing wrong with this mix whatsoever; in fact I loved every part of i.

50% happy, 50% sad, but it's one of those strange, mathematically impossible times where equal amounts of oppisites don't cancel out, but intertwine nicely to create a confused remix. (I sound like some sort of crazy art critic, don't I? ) Approval Rating: 87.5% (As stated before in another post, my approval ratings are not based on school grades.) He improved upon the original very nicely....Loved the flutes, but would have loved a mandolin to take over at around what is now the end..... Oh, wait, that probably wouldn't work, would it? .... It might, but only to about half the ppl that listen to it. 87.5%. Short, but enjoyable while it lasts.

It's a real nice track....upbeat, happy.....the *eeeeeeeeeeee* thing doesn't really sound all that great, but it is a good excuse for a break, and besides, it's elecman, of course it's going to have something like that somewhere. And....one last note........for some very strange reson, it reminds me of the op to Gundam 0080.....don't ask me why, I don't know, it just does.... 85%.
