Unlocked Hard Mode on Elite Beat Agents.

Looks like demand is pretty high. My website is fine for the time being so I won't ask anything.

I have a simple idea. Make something like a paper cube, but angle the vertical sides a little bit outwards so they give in slightly when the egg lands on it.

I love how smooth the gameplay looks.
I just noticed that, it seems like it runs at 60 fps, and it looks so darn good. I hope they can keep this framerate steady for the final release.
We'll never know since the movie runs at 30fps.

Played a bit more Elite Beat Agents this week. After the Vegas Mission I've been totally addicted to the game. Very awesome, very funny.

Warming up to Yoshi's Island DS. Music is mediocre actually. I AM REALLY ANNOYED WITH REPRESSING THE JUMP BUTTON TO DO REPETITIVE FLOATING KICKS IT DOES NOT WORK >:[

I've been busy this month on college apps, so that's why I haven't been active lately. Between wrapping them up, Wii games, and school, the only time I have for this project is over Winter Break. I'll get everything relating to the Storybook interface done. "Inside Nova" must get an artist and be complete by then.
EDIT: UC app in

Since I can't play Wii yet...I really have to recommend Bomberman Land Touch. So many great mini-games plus online classic Bomberman ftw.
CLASSIC ONLINE BOMBERMAN!?
Picked up EBA and Yoshi's Island. Former is awesome all over, latter is killed by bad music.

Diddy Kong Racing DS + Castlevania PoR = I have very high expectations for these games...
DKR will disappoint.

^ How are $50-$60 games overpriced? I'm sure you remember the day when SNES/Megadrive games were very expensive.
My impression was the price range for PS3 games was from $60-$100.
I got my copy of FFVI for $80 back in 1995 or whenever it came out. That's like $100 today. Did I enjoy the game any less?FFVI was an exception to the $50 game standard. If every PS3 game is as good as FFVI, there's nothing to worry about.

Good idea Liontamer.
We are looking for an artist who can draw this.

Very impressive pictures.
What's the frame rate?

ok' date=' I have been trying to connect my DS to the interwebs at local hotspots, namely, Starbucks.
However, I have tried at several locations to establish a connection to no avail. What sort of arcane magicks must I utilize to get my DS online?[/quote']
Some locations have restricted internet access that requires something similar to a password.
NintendoWifi.com has decent instructions:

I'm just betting to grasp how epic of a game this new Zelda will be.

Oh, that's just a recycled level from Monkey Ball 2. When the wheel spins, the opening always stops in the two same places. I just wait and then use the + pad to roll the monkey in. Here's a crude chart of the ground around the spinny wheel:

Wait where the blue part is.

Been on a Monkey Ball DS streak lately. Finally beat everything but the last level in the last world. Not a fantastic DS game, but pretty good once you get into it.

Ooh! New footage soon. Nice.
I'm not expecting much. Chances are by now Sakurai has a bit more than half the game done. I think we'll see new environments in the new video this Friday, but I have my doubts as far as characters go. Not getting my hopes up. >.>

You can also plant money trees too.
I did that, but I guess mine was a dud. I shook it when it grew fully and nothing came out.
The chances are low, so you'd have to plant a lot.
Can't you use the golden shovel to plant always profitable money trees?
The golden shovel is the only way to get money trees...but the percentage is low - I've planted like 11, and after 4 days (for the first 4 I did), none of the 4 gave me bags o 30,000 coins
.
I read this conversation out of context and half awake. Then I realized you guys were serious.

Oh yeah, a few days ago I got to play Wii and Elite Beat Agents happened to be tucked away there too. The DS games's everything I hoped it would be. Absolutely hilarious.

I got my girl interested in the DS, so I'm getting her the pink one for Christmas. I'm thinking of getting her Super Princess Peach and Nintendogs, as well as a kirby game. Should I get her Canvas Curse, or Squeak Squad? which one would be better for someone relatively new to gaming?
Just get New Super Mario Bros.
EDIT: Did I just say that!?
... uh Canvas Curse yeah!

Nintendo sent me a questionnaire about Yoshi's Island DS, and I wrote a rather lengthy reason why I was Somewhat Dissatisfied with it.
I've though a lot about it, and it really seems Yoshi's Island DS lacks the magic that Yoshi's Island for the SNES had. Artoon's decision to put the sequel on Yoshi's Island once again forced me to compare the game its prequel constantly. Small changes in jump mechanics left me displeased. The music is subpar in terms of composition compared to the prequel. What I loved about Yoshi's Island for the SNES was that it looked like a kids cartoon, but felt like a mature game. The "kiddy" sound effects crippled that feel in Yoshi’s Island DS. Some bosses were good, but many weren't. If I were to give advice for a sequel, I would tell Artoon to take Yoshi to a completely new island and make a majority of the content new elements never seen before in a Yoshi game. That will make the series feel new and magical again.
Hopefully my advice will be noted.
