For the most part I like this, however there is an issue of key. The piano in the background needs to chance key with the melody. The first real major instance of this problem is at 0:56. It just sounds like two different keys clashing together, and thats not good. The way this song is structured is in a way that the song changes to 4 different keys in a metter of 8 measures. So when the melody changes key, the piano needs to as well, to keep things together. -

It's the loop of the main theme. In your mix it starts at 0:25. In the original it would start as soon as you started the level. The second and sixth notes in your version are a bit too high to be on key. Maybe just by a half-step or so. Edit: Just to try and make sure I've made it clear, I'm adding another phrasing of the description: The first and second notes in the loop that comes in at 0:25, in all cases of the loop, are high, and slightly off key. Hmm, well just to test your theory, I raised the whole song by a half step (matching the GYM) and it seems to be the same. Perhaps you means out of tune, or it was the octave difference that made it sound different (the mix has that section playing an octave higher than the ost) Anyway, I think I like how the song sounds a half step up, I might leave it this way. I did lower the pitch slightly, and it sounds better now, so it was probably the tuning which needed....um tuning? Also, I lowered the guitar one octave in the main theme. Ok, rendering's done. Heres the New version And here's the Old version What do you think? Half step up or normal? -

I finally decided to post my WIP...anywho, this is completely different than anything any of you are expecting (not probably, definitely), I just hope you like it. Also, I am aware of the add being too quiet at 3:22. It takes a half hour to render this, so Ill fix that among other things next update. Anyway, here's the link feedback + suggestions would be great. -

By the way, did you know there's two versions of Launch Base? One is from the original cart, and the other is from the PC version of the game (which is what I have, and all of the other songs are exactly the same, its just that one which is different) -

Keep your gleamy paws off death egg! Not that im participating in this project or anything...but Im currently working on a remix of it...Ah hell, dont these projects do remixes that have already been done anyway? Damnit to hell! -
Also, Loopkid, Im not sure exactly what you're looking for, but Id say theres a good chance you'll find it here: http://www.hammersound.net/cgi-bin/soundlink.pl?action=view_category&category=Guitar&ListStart=0&ListLength=15 and as for sirens, http://www.findsounds.com has a bunch of siren clips, they might have what you need

Ill be damned if I ever get a response to this: (from locked thread) This may be a bit of a stretch, but what Im looking for is an audio clip (preferably low quality recording) of a fighter jet pilot talking to HQ via radio. For example: "Pilot contacting mission control requesting takeoff" "Roger that pilot, permission granted, you're good to go" If you know where I can find an audio clip like this, or if you know of a movie/documentary that would definitely have it, please let me know (if you post a response in this thread, please PM me)

Sorry I mysteriously disappeared for a while (finals and crap). There's no guarantee Ill be able to finish what Ive started, so just count me as not participating. There's just no guarantee, so Ill just work on it over time and if I do indeed finish it and you still need a Lucca song Ill post it here. PS: free bump

it looks like the campfire scene right before Lucca's quest to alter her own past by saving her mother from that weird machine in her house. On a different note: I just started the song a couple of days ago, so I will need more time before I can send you something to give an idea of what it will end up sounding like.

Has someone started a "Lucca's Arival" WIP? If not put me up for that because Im currently working on one EDIT: just for the record, would you prefer something along the lines of "Lucca the Amazing" and "Lucca to the Rescue" as is in the OST (fast paced, staccato, strong, bold), or something slower, legato and soft?

This is a great mix. It really captures the setting of the ruined world and the emotion that the characters must feel when they leave the portal. -

Nice, I really dig the concert approach to this one. It has a more real feel to it (for me thats always a plus). The variation is nice... love the piano and sax (and of course the guitar ) Hmm...is that some Frog's Theme and Mother Brain's theme I hear in there? Its Great! Soon to be another Vigilante classic. Excellent -
