  1. Oh damn this might be my new favorite remix
  2. Ooooh...... I might have to take a crack at this one. Linking the source just to have it here. I think I have an idea what I want to do with it already.....
  3. Yup, that's definitely the factory theme from DKC. I'd recognize that anywhere. Dave Wise at his absolute finest, imo
  4. What I love about MkVaff's style is how each piece has plenty of room to breathe, and I can clearly hear every single note on every single synth and every single drum beat. Nothing ever gets buried or lost in the mix. No clutter, just sweet sweet synths and beats.
  5. Got any use for an (admittedly amateur) python dev?
  6. Loved the original, and love this take on it! Really captures and expands on the epic and ethereal feel of the track.
  7. Hello, all! I'm selling my Kendrick 2210 guitar amp, the tweed-est of tweed amps. This is the amp used for the lead in Lover Reef, and for every electric guitar part in Trapped in the Minds. All analogue, lovely responsive cleans, delightful tweed growl when cranked, loves pedals of any sort. Hoping to get $2k for it, but happy to consider reasonable offers (especially if you're within driving distance of Ewing, NJ) https://reverb.com/item/54819511-1991-kendrick-2210-tweed-amp
  8. HAHAHA YES! This mix is so much fun. The world needs more accordion music.
  9. Arrangement is nice, but I really wish the guitars were mixed a bit louder.
  10. Always love zyko's stuff, and this is no exception! Loving the relaxed, acoustic feel.
  11. If you do not remember the Nickelodeon Animorphs TV series, consider yourself lucky. If you do remember it, you probably remember that it had exactly two good things about it: Paulo Costanzo as Ax, and the intro theme. Here's my WIP of the latter: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1LZaSZqMzRCbkKIICHISvMLL0yg6UHGDI/view?usp=sharing Mixing is way off, and guitars in the first part are all over the place.
  12. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1G5guMsucceZUA9aFqm-KbfEI-3oYR-sN/view?usp=sharing Funky's theme from DKC, done in grimy reggae style. Not sure where I want to go with it from here
  13. I love this mix so much. Simple, not a lot going on, just some great guitar work
  14. I don't know what shocks me more: that it took twenty years to get a Starcraft remix on OCR, or that the aforementioned remix WASN'T terran. Anyway, awesome work! This makes my zerg-maining soul happy.
  15. Holy shit. This might actually be my favorite mix on the site right now. I cannot possibly say enough good things about this mix. Before listening to this track, I hated synthwave; this mix hit 0:37, and my mind was changed. This does an absolutely phenomenal job of amplifying everything that was wonderful in the original tracks.
  16. I also had not previously given Super Cartography Bros a listen, and am now listening because of this thread. @RoBKTAthis SMW map theme mix is excellent!
  17. Def gonna be making it longer. That won't be the end of it
  18. Update: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1LAmRJRs-Nwvs0xYFVynP6t9K4_YitrsO/view?usp=sharing
  19. Dunno if I'm ever actually gonna finish this one, but I'm having fun with it so far Updated link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1LAmRJRs-Nwvs0xYFVynP6t9K4_YitrsO/view?usp=sharing
  20. Ooooh shit it's gonna be a rush to get something done in time, but I might have to take a crack at this one
  21. I second the reaper recommendation
  22. You know, I think my favorite thing about this mix, the thing that most impresses me, is the restraint. The super-obvious choice when doing an EDM arrangement of a track like this, with its dark driving rythms, would be to make something, loud, heavy, and hard-hitting. But this takes it in a totally different direction, while still keeping that dark feel and driving rhythm. Mellow, chill, restrained. It's really refreshing, and works extremely well!
