update to the bank is live y'all

there are a few loose threads which will allow for more story details through events as the game ages (one in particular that comes to mind involves a man in the desert near a bush, and i'm eager to get the pokebank update already so i can see what that is all about) also @DragonAvenger i'm off all day today and tomorrow and can at least give you a pheromosa to keep

i'm assuming the bank update will be following shortly hereafter, since the season 2 battle rules include the national dex, and that begins on the 17th

I have a shiny minior in a beast ball, after about 900 eggs. took advantage of the fact that eggs are set in stone until you swap out parents to reset and hatch him at aether paradise now, what do I set my sights upon next. maybe a shiny beldum for the wife

I got my hands on a blue minior in a beast ball, which is cool enough on its own, but I've undertaken the task of breeding a shiny from it 450+ eggs into it so far. I've been sending out the rejects through wonder trade

you can actually scan any random qr code as well

the SOS battles take that function for this generation. every time a pokemon calls for help you have an increased chance of encountering one with high IVs, its hidden ability, or shiny coloration

i've only ever found four shinies, however three of them so far have been from this game! first one was back in silver (gbc version, not heartsilver), i believe it was a dunsparce so far in sun i've caught a shiny trumbeak while chaining for a castform, randomly encountered a shiny granbull while leveling up things to fill the dex, and the very first solosis egg i hatched turned out to be shiny. i havent even gotten the charm yet, i'm liking the odds i've been given here EDIT: btw you can scan that magearna qr code every day for a quick 20 points, it just wont trigger the giveaway again

a nuzlocke of this game will be pretty difficult in the late stages if youre not grinding to be overleveled. good luck

im actually pretty impressed with the way this story was constructed im at the elite 4 now. just wait and youll see how much you like what they did with the villains (though i totally called it, i wasnt disappointed with just how they did it)

Yeah It seems the game glitches out a little bit if you mess with the clock, and I'm assuming you fixed yours for daylight savings time. it should correct itself and keep counting up from there though

It's been a blast every time I've been able to make it to one of these. Really an entertaining hour and quite enjoyable to watch your creative process

Oh My god I'm not the only person that does it: go pull up the demo and quickly rotate the circle pad so your character spins in place for a few seconds, and watch what happens

i cant be the only person that noticed the logo looks like a yin-yang. it's a nice touch
