  1. props to the artist for the smooth linework great shading on the blues, too
  2. I need something to do at work. Gladly
  3. any time, man. youve got a good ear

  4. definitely want to hear more from chiwalker, this is a fun piece edit: just played around on his soundcloud account, everything i looked at was equally as entertaining to listen to. i like this guy
  5. the run and this little backstory behind it are both great btw im gonna quote this into the speedrun thread over at unmod if thats cool, i know antipode will get a kick out of it
  6. not so much a runner as i am a consistent follower of both sda and tasvideos back when unmod was still around we used to have a speedrun competition thread. people would sign up to compete and the winner of the first game would get to choose the next one to be run that was a lot of fun. i recall coming pretty close when we ran comix zone, and closer still when we ran felix the cat
  7. this is a cool username, dude
  8. also, WillRock's Phoenix Wright mix "True Evening" has some static noises that I (presumptively) don't believe are part of the track
  9. holy shit on that ending! idk how i missed this track the first time around but it instantly got a 5 when it came up in my ipod tracklist
  10. I don't know if it's already been addressed somewhere else in the thread or not, but I just discovered the 1001-2000 torrent has at least one corrupted file. Specifically djp's earthbound remix "Twoson Hits the Road" it cuts off before finishing and is only 2:12 in length
  11. oh, awesome of course its by mazedude this pleases me
  12. There are over 100 chrono trigger remixes and not a single one touches the "Tyrano Lair" theme peculiar
  13. *preface as far as commenting on the mix: i had a lot of fun with it. and thats all i need to enjoy dubstep. well done, blind
  14. heh, smash bros is the reason i played earthbound for the first time too i was aware of its existence through a friend who had an snes and a copy, but never saw much beyond the intro scene forgot about it, then unlocked ness in ssb and i was the only one of my friends who wasnt completely in the dark about who the character was went and downloaded the game on a whim and changed my life FO'EVA
  15. that backing synth (the bells, i guess) sounds awfully reminiscent of the chord progression in placebo's "post blue" had fun figuring out why it sounded familiar
  16. oh dude the dexter remix i love you now do the opening theme too!
  17. after all these years that segment from 3:09 - 3:15 remains the most satisfying collection of sounds to ever grace my ears
  18. look how clever i am
  19. how many people got how close, etc number of games guessed, also. i specifically started thinking about what kind of results could be shown if people did go in depth with timestamps and instrument assignments
  20. please tell me i can expect to see some data for the results, when all is said and done
