i particularly like the assertion that learning to make chiptunes made you a better guitarist i decided to write a presentation about chiptunes for a speech class i took back in '07, and i believe that the basic understanding i have about music theory happens to be largely a component of the research i did for that speech

the run and this little backstory behind it are both great btw im gonna quote this into the speedrun thread over at unmod if thats cool, i know antipode will get a kick out of it

not so much a runner as i am a consistent follower of both sda and tasvideos back when unmod was still around we used to have a speedrun competition thread. people would sign up to compete and the winner of the first game would get to choose the next one to be run that was a lot of fun. i recall coming pretty close when we ran comix zone, and closer still when we ran felix the cat

also, WillRock's Phoenix Wright mix "True Evening" has some static noises that I (presumptively) don't believe are part of the track

I don't know if it's already been addressed somewhere else in the thread or not, but I just discovered the 1001-2000 torrent has at least one corrupted file. Specifically djp's earthbound remix "Twoson Hits the Road" it cuts off before finishing and is only 2:12 in length
