  1. Final Fantasy 4, if you add in a third dimension.
  2. Megaman X, Super Turrican, Actraiser, Final Fantasy 2, and about a million others.
  3. Well, I'd have to say that you're in the minority there. There was nothing generic about it, and there's nothing generic about mode-7 racing games like F-Zero. Mode 7 was amazing for its time, and so were the first two Ninja Gaiden games on the NES. The nes Gaiden games were the first home console games to introduce cinema style scenes on home consoles (well, the first to do it right, at least). The action was fast, the spells were cool, the music was excellent. Climbing, flipping, while shooting different kinds of magic, just trying to survive - with excellent graphics. Not to forget a real cool storyline. And I've played Revenge of Shinobi, and no - It is not "years ahead" of Ninja Gaiden. So, I guess I'm done here. Feel free to continue, because I like debate (and no, I'm not arguing, I'm just proving that I'm right).
  4. ^^ ....Yeah. And this is coming from the guy who said that the Ninja Gaiden trilogy "wasn't really that good." Okay, Gecko. Whatever you say.
  5. I'll have to go with Contra 3. Now I don't mind paying 8 bucks for that badass game.
  6. I like the mechanical dragon's dialog. I had to fight him again just to hear his ranting. By the way, I have to disagree with you a bit Cynical. I think Super Paper Mario was a welcome diversion for Paper Mario. Although the first two games are great, I think that the second one was too much like the first. But anyway, you Paper Mario noobs should try out the first games too, because they're really good.
  7. Thanks to Bigfoot for the tipout. I went to Best Buy and scored a Wii before the store opened (second to last voucher). Anyway, I'm a happy man. Even my lady says it looks great on the shelf, right by the old NES.
  8. [quote name=''[\()/];259687']Did your old Mustang have a V6 or V8? If you have a v8' date=' be prepared for a gutless engine. The 3.8 v6 is weaksauce, especially when paired with an auto tranny. If you have a v6 currently, you will get a noticeable power increase, around 50hp or so.[/quote'] Yeah, the v6 isn't anything special. Of course, I'm concerned not at all about having a fast car - unless I want to pay off tickets like my V-8 owning friends. Honestly, a V-8 would be cool, but that's out of my range and not high on the priority list. I do remember my little brother's 2002 GT with the independent rear supsension - That car really got up quick. Nice car.
  9. Micheal Jackson, oh what are we going to with you, you frikkin' weirdo. By the way, I think the world is going to end now. So I'm going to buy up the whole liquor store and lock myself in the basement for a year. See ya guys.
  10. I hope he's tortured in hell every second. And if there isn't a hell, may a God make one just for him. And peace to all of the victims and everyone else who has been a victim of something this awful.
  11. Hey guys, I just found a site selling Wii's cheap and I think it's kinda fishy . I haven't seen Wii prices this low as of yet, and I was wondering if any of you could inform me of this site's validity. http://etrofield.com/home.php By the way, I played Super Paper Mario for a few hours, and it kicks ass. I can't wait to get it. I've beaten the first two Paper Mario games, and this one still blew my mind.
  12. Thanks a lot for your advice everyone. I'm going to take it for a good second drive, run it by my mechanic friend, and probably buy it. And to EdgeCrusher, lol: It is kinda a woman's car, especially since it's a convertible. My girlfriend will love it.
  13. Yep, I need some advice on this. My friend's Dad owns a dealership and they're offering me a deal on a 2003 Mustang (take note that this is an old time friend, I've even gone on vacation with his family). It's white, convertible, with 80,000 miles, automatic v6, and the Mach sound system with 6 disc-cd changer. My old 96 Mustang is finally wanting to kick the bucket, but I have the cobra R rims to pimp the new one if I get it. They're offering it (to me) for $7,500, which I think is a pretty good deal. I rarely travel long distances, and I've seen plenty of Mustangs surpass 200,000 miles. So, do you think is a good deal? The offering price is well below suggested retail. Anyway, what do you think?
  14. I love that pumped feeling. But uh, I can't listen to anything right now, because I'm at school.
  15. I'll happily buy both Zelda Oracle games. So, yeah, sign me on. P.M. me and we'll work out the details later. I got work, but hell yeah, consider them sold.
  16. I hate to there, but I have to say it: It's ridiculous how people drool over violence, but have a heart attack when they see some titties. Violence = bad (entertaining of course, but still bad) Nude attractive women = good (and still very entertaining) I think a lot of people have their priorities confused Now, if you'll excuse me, let's get back to the topic.
  17. Yeah, I almost enjoyed it myself. I mean, there are some enjoyable songs on there, and it's a very different record - they were really hoping for originality. I think I would've really had respect for it if it wasn't under the name of "Metallica." As far as the lyrical content, I loved it. If you listen to the words, you can tell that James was digging deep. Still, it wasn't what I was looking for.
  18. I think St. Anger would have been enjoyable if the drums didn't sound like ass and they didn't cut out the solos (which I'm not sure of, but i've heard numerous times). But, this is reality, and I just didn't dig it.
  19. That's just plain shitty. I remember being robbed, but it 'only' cost me 500 or 600 bucks. Still, though, I literally wanted to kill someone. I guess this guy has the same emotions, times ten thousand. A friend of mine got robbed the other day too. They held him up at gunpoint, and took a lot of his electronics, including his computer - which contained his senior project. He had to start all over. People are pathetic, aren't they?
  20. I'm wondering if that will ever get old.
