Not only is it great that the pats didn't win, that was an incredibly exciting and intense game. Finally, a real Super Bowl for once!

OCR01672 - F-Zero "The Freedom of Zero"
ProjectSpam replied to djpretzel's topic in ReMix Reviews & Comments
Harmony is simply incredible. I didn't know how he'd be able to follow up Dragon Song, and it's taken a few years, but he's come back with another remarkable piece of music. -
Shnabubula Presents Ender's Game

I heard this a while ago, and I've loved it since. I only wish I read the book so I could gain a deeper understanding for what Sam's done. Great work as always. -

This is so good! It ends so quickly, but that leaves it easy to leave on repeat. -

AeroZ is becoming one of my favorite ReMixers. Incredible song. This is so slick, so cool in every aspect. -
OCR01626 - Final Fantasy VII "Mark of the Beatsmith"
ProjectSpam replied to djpretzel's topic in ReMix Reviews & Comments
This is one of my top two favorite tracks from the album, and I'm not surprised that Hy Bound was so influenced by Hybrid - that's my favorite group. Excellent work all-around. -
OCR01623 - Final Fantasy VII "Black Wing Metamorphosis"
ProjectSpam replied to djpretzel's topic in ReMix Reviews & Comments
Ya know, I liked this the first time I heard it, but I was disappointed at its length, because I felt that it could have been longer. Upon successive listens, it gets better and better each time. This is a song that really grows on me. And I really love that chiptune beginning, such a good entry for the awesomeness to follow. -
OCRA-0009 - Final Fantasy VII: Voices of the Lifestream
ProjectSpam replied to zircon's topic in Album Reviews & Comments
Wow. Having listened to the entire album, I must say that this was well worth the wait. I pretty much dug every track, my early favorites being Hy Bound's Mark of a Beathsmith, Scenes from a Memory, Short Skirts, Chasing the Storm, Alien Exploration.. actually I could go on and on. Kudos to all involved! -

Hopefully I don't have a heart attack from being excited on September 6th. -
OCR01404 - Secret of Mana "Dragon Song"

Another Harmony ReMix would probably make my year. This might be my favorite OCR ever - every time I listen to it, it gives me major chills, and I've been listening to it since it came out. Simply incredible. -
The Longest Journey needs more remixes

Shark is an awesome track. It's been my favorite from that game for years, and if I ever get proficient in remixing (I'm making an effort to become decent), I'll give that one a shot. -

How many songs do you have on your mp3 player?
ProjectSpam replied to EdgeCrusher's topic in General Discussion
4600ish songs on my iPod. -
I haven't played the game, but I find it impressive that the makers could get a game they made with the old RPG Maker 2000 to have so much press, negative or not. I, however, feel that the game was made with good intentions, but it's just not far enough away from the shootings themselves to really be released and promoted on the internet. Even if they give it another 15 years, it still wouldn't be long enough because school shootings are always a threat, and there's not much someone can do to stop some psycho once they have their mind set toward shooting some classmates.

OCR01537 - Final Fantasy X "Summoner's Love"
ProjectSpam replied to djpretzel's topic in ReMix Reviews & Comments
The Besaid Island music from FFX is probably my favorite from the game's soundtrack. This ReMix is loads of nostalgic value for me, in addition to being a well-made mix in general. This is just one of those ReMixes that I can listen to over and over again... great, soothing work. -
Well, I'll admit I have nothing constructive to add to this, but I will offer a word of praise. I played Mega Man X a hell of a lot as a youngster, and always yearned to see how it would play out if there was a multi-player option. However, this sounds like quite a different experience from all the online games I've played (maybe I haven't played that many, who knows), and certainly sounds like it would be a ton of fun. I would definitely try it out if this idea comes into fruition, as long as the cost to play wasn't exorbitant.

I'm really sorry about this, but I've found that I really don't have time for this anymore. I'm too involved with school, work, and organizations around campus whilst maintaining an active social life. I love Tetris Attack, and the idea behind this contest, but I really don't have time to unwind anymore and am thus going to have to drop out of this contest.
