It's Friday, but not Saturday. There are now about five things going on in the community where the suspense is killing me. I better keep working on the imminent update on my site before I go nuts.

Sheee, I remember when "The Bird" first came out; it was like the "Jackin' for Beats" of country. I had a big laugh out of that song.

That's my concern right there. The next browser that's 100% compatible with current HTML standards would be the first. I hope Chrome can do that, but if not, that's yet another browser designers have to test with and possibly create painful workarounds for. Does anyone see any issues with OCR yet?

If I didn't lose my home connection while deciding my cable package (coming at you from the laundromat wi-fi), I'd be the one to bump. I started last Sunday, figured to be working non-stop 'til deadline at the expense of stuff like food, sleep and No. 2, but... although that's happened, I'm actually about finished. I really am gettin' better at this. I'm at mastering now; stay tuned.

I was having too much fun with everybody to take any meet pics this time around. What I have will show up in a gallery soon as I update my website: just cosplay, pretty much. I do have these, though: The OCRBBQ cell-cam circle. Everyone took pics of each other on their phones. I on THE guitar. Learning from Krillin. A shot of N00b, way up at the celing; silly bird actually showered with me.

Looks like I've got it working... enjoy. For a "high quality" version in stereo, go to the video's page and add "&fmt=18" to the URL, unless and until the "watch in high quality" link shows up in the page.

I've been trying to do the same, working my way around upload limits but making sure there'll be a "high-quality" setting that does the video justice, not to mention stereo sound. Stay tuned.

Just got home. I'm dead-ass. That was officially the worst display of bus service I've ever seen. One so-called meal (several bags of chips and Burger King fries shared with another passenger) and I'm home, ten hours after leaving the BBQ. Still deciding if I'm crazy enough to head to work in three hours. I was hit in the face a lot this trip. Cosplay photos later: Tetsuo was bananas. I don't know why I didn't think to get a picture of Amy's wonderfully ReMix'ed OCR T-shirt (anyone else have that?). I'll get that panel vid up as soon as I can. Thanks to everyone for the good times: Xerol for the quarters; Jilli-Andy for the birthday props and the opportunity to fill in for Larry; Dave for the bar meet; everyone else for everything else.

No better way to die of exhaustion than with this community. I'm just glad I acquitted myself well enough at the panel. Another year of music and other work for me....

Just woke up, and getting ready. I can't figure out much to do when it rains somewhere I'm not familiar with. I believe there are several arcades, and an old arcade rat like myself would probably hang in there all day if I could. Maybe catch a movie. I'm perfectly willing to take in the surroundings underneath an umbrella and see what opportunity presents itself. If Passive's still coming, that's just 3 of us, so we can go anywhere. Just to be clear, this is at noon and the Nathan's is right by the Coney/Stillwell stop, right?

That's pretty much how it usually goes; it rained badly at the last NYC summer meet. But only for a coupla hours, and it looks similar tomorrow: when mid-to-late afternoon rolls around, thunderstorms could be isolated. Beach-going is out, but we might still manage outside activity. I'll see what else goes on at Coney tonight.

I'm amazed we had enough for two CDs. The album cover-ists should probably keep that in mind, that's if any individuals consider burning actual CDs out of it. But then, which track would start the second disc?

Bringing this thread from way back for two reasons: 1. A couple messages at the group (it's been slow going lately) asking about submitting videos for consideration, and I wasn't certain of the bast way to do that. 2. This thread here is one way, because now we have a great addition: By chance I found the post at VGFrequency, which was updated with no word on the forums (the link at the thread goes to ormgas now [?!?]), then had to dig into Reviews. Just thought I'd try to make it a bit more visible. They beat me to the punch: I wanted to be first with a "music video of sorts."
